Well, where do I start? It's a perfect example how to turn initially beautiful experience at the 4!!!!! Star hotel to the absolute negative "hostel" kind of experience with a really bad management We stayed at the beautiful room, and the guys at the reception was really really nice, specially Alina, she was an absolute gem, she gave us so many ideas to where to go and what to see in the Budapest and she was extremely welcome and professional and extremely sweet, thanks to her we had an absolutely amazing and wonderful vacation, she booked things for us , she managed everything that we asked, she was really absolutely amazing! But it all when down when we met an aggressive, rude, angry manager who treated us like we were in a cheap hostel or something. She raised her voice on us, she was being absolutely rude, disgusting behaviour that U really can't expect at a 4 star hotel. We were told after that she was following us, checking our room personally, in order to find smth that we didn't do. That was our first trip together as a married couple and only thanks to Alina our stay was absolutely pleasant. But when we met that absolutely angry, rude, disgusting lady as a manager we decided we will never go back at this hotel. I can't start to describe how rude she was, how her behaviour was absolutely disgusting and rude. She was rude and disgusting to her employees Infront of the guests of the hotel with no shame at all, she was rude just not to us but to other customers, who dared to complain about something, we talked to another guests of the hotel at the breakfast and they were also absolutely shocked of that "manager" behaviour, they were like us absolutely disgusted by it. They said they have never seen any hotel manager behaviour like this, screaming at customers, making them feel like at the cheapest hostel ever. It's a shame that such a beautiful hotel has someone AS A MANAGER like this. Ruined all the experience for lots of people. Very angry, rude, disgusting manager. My husband is a manager too and he told me that he would quit out of guilt if he ever acted like this to his customers. Absolutely disgusting. Shame on you for having such a mentally disturbed manager. Really beautiful hotel, beautiful spacious rooms, beautiful Ppl on reception and than that angry disturbed manager who clearly hates it's customers and don't care about the hotel image at all. What is wrong with U by having THAT kind of...

The concierge was extremely nice and helpful. We got in early (at 11), before traditional check-in time, but wanted to see where the hotel was and get some information. The concierge appologized our room was not ready yet (we didn't expect it to be) and offered to keep our bags there until it was so we could tour around without the weight. He also recommended a fantastic traditional Hungarian restaurant just down the street called Paprika that was so delicious. The included breakfast was way more than we bargained for, offering so many different (some oriental options) but tasty choices (way more than you would expect from a continental breakfast). We had a room facing the heroes square with a patio overlooking it. Great view! It was very hot when we got there, so we were happy to get back to a comfortably air conditioned room. The AC was not noisy or too intense, which I appreciated. The concierge organized a reasonably priced taxi for us and when we went to check out, he offered we could keep out bags there again, since our train was not leaving until 5 pm. The staff really went above and beyond to make our stay special. The location is ideal and really close to the subway and train station. I would highly recommend this hotel. It may be a little pricier than other options, but I can say it was worth...

Great location - near the Heroes Monument. Metro station to the city center is nearby (over the age of 65, ride on public transportation is free - present ID). Rooms are noise isolated, especially at the back side. Breakfast has a large variety of fresh and cooked choices, fresh coffee, fresh fruits, pastry, cheese, and sausage options. Staff at the reception are welcoming and informative. Edina & David were great. Also, Alina was very helpful during check-in. Rooms are a bit old style but clean. Some rooms are carpeted, and some have laminated/ceramic tiles. The size of rooms varies, depending on reservation (regular or superior). One may order separated beds in advance. Hot water pot and coffee/tea are available in the room. Minor maintenance issues were addressed quickly. Management responses were efficient and helpful. Checkout time 11:00. High-speed Wi-Fi is available and free. The hotel has a Chinese medical treatment and...

The hotel is not quite downtown, but is very close to a metro, which is very convenient and can quickly take you to anywhere that you would like. When I arrived, I saw a massive staircase, which was very frustrating when you’re carrying heavy bags. There was no indication of an elevator, but fortunately, the restaurant staff close to the hotel showed me where I could go in the back of the hotel, where there was an elevator. The breakfast was very good and the area is very walkable with a number of sites and restaurants to enjoy. The breakfast buffet was very good and I definitely got a good nights sleep. I highly recommend the place.
