An Unforgettable Experience… For All the Wrong Reasons
Well, where do I even begin? If you’ve ever wondered what disappointment tastes like, this is the place to find out.
We were greeted — eventually — after what felt like an eternity of being completely invisible to the staff. Maybe they were testing our patience as part of the dining experience. Who knows?
Once we finally managed to place an order, we settled in for a nice, long wait. Clearly, “fast” isn’t a word that exists in this restaurant’s vocabulary.
When the food arrived, it somehow managed to lower the already rock-bottom expectations. The burger was a true masterpiece — dry, flavourless, and sad. I didn’t know it was possible to ruin something as simple as a burger, but they’ve cracked the code. The bun was soggy, the patty tasted like cardboard, and the overall experience was... educational.
As for the pasta — wow. Absolutely astonishing how something could have so little flavour. Overcooked noodles floating in what I can only assume was an attempt at a sauce. I’ve had more exciting meals at a hospital cafeteria.
Of course, no one bothered to check how anything was — probably a wise move, considering. At least they’re consistent in ignoring customers both before and after serving disappointment on a plate.
All in all, if you’re looking for a painfully slow service combined with dry burgers and pasta that could bore you to tears, you’ve hit the jackpot. Otherwise, do yourself a favour and eat literally...
Read moreMy recent visit to Gott was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by an exceptional team, including Olga, Maja, Martyna, Zuzia, Klaudia, and the very friendly Lithuanian host.
We started our meal with fresh, flavorful fish that was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. The wrap selection was equally impressive, with every bite offering a delicious mix of textures and tastes. It’s clear that the kitchen staff takes great pride in their work.
But what truly stole the show were the desserts. They were simply divine—rich, indulgent, and absolutely unforgettable. Each dessert was a work of art, balancing sweetness with a touch of creativity that made the experience even more special.
Special thanks to Olga, Maja, Martyna, Zuzia, Klaudia, and our Lithuanian host for their impeccable service. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure our evening was perfect from start to finish. It’s not often you find a restaurant where the staff is as remarkable as the food, but Gott manages to excel in both areas.
I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether you're in the mood for fish, wraps, or a sweet treat, Gott is the place to be. We'll definitely...
Read moreWow! This is one of those places where I wouldn’t have come to unless it was recommended but I would have missed something special.
It is incredible here. As you walk in your greater with a colorful, warm and cozy yet classy ambiance. The staff are delightful and the service is fast and friendly. The restrooms were very clean and private.
The best thing though is the food. We started with the cheese plate which featured a nutty melted Brie cheese woth garnishes. It far exceeded expectations. The next was the salad and out of full disclosure im not one for salads by my wife is and she loved it, it was unique but not my cup of tea. Then we had the special of the day, fresh caught Cod that was the best I’ve ever eaten. It was over a bed of mashed potatoes that was topped with an amazing cream sauce with sautéed vegetables, first rate all around.
I would recommend this place to anyone. I have young children and we didn’t have them with us but they even had a little corner for them with a few toys. We were lucky and got in without a reservation but I would recommend it since...
