Visited Andhra Ruchulu on a weekend for lunch. We had their popular Andhra Veg Meal, and it was very satisfying.

The meal contained standard dishes of an Andhra meal like Pappu, Rice, Sambar, Rasam, Palya, Curd, etc., but we were pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of Majjige Pulusu, which tasted absolutely mind-blowing. The spice levels were perfect; we found the food neither too spicy nor bland. Every morsel of piping hot rice with ghee, pedi, Pappu, and Sambar was soul-satisfying.

We were further delighted by the complimentary dessert of Spicy Guava Ice-cream.

I really liked that they offer more dishes in the Andhra meal compared to some other popular joints. This has put Andhra Ruchulu at the top of our list of Andhra meal restaurants.

The service was satisfactory. The staff was attentive, and additional helpings of food were prompt. We never had to wait long for anything.

The ambiance is cozy with good lighting, comfortable seating, and a welcoming environment. The hotel also offers valet parking.

My original rating for this outlet would be 3.5 for reasons below but giving a 4* as there is option otherwise. This restaurant is located adjoining to Pai Comforts hotel and is easily accessible. Valet parking is available. The outlet is big enough to accomodate ~80 people but only a section of the seating was open. We ordered the following: Chicken Manchow Soup, Masala Papad, Punjabi Murgh Tikka, Kadappa Chicken, Guntur Chicken Biriyani, Kadappa Chicken Biriyani, Murgh Hyderabadi with Butter Kulcha and Butter Roti. For desserts, we had Fried Ice-cream, Gulab Jamun, Rasmalai. For beverages, we had lassi, sweet lime sida and jal jeera. While the service was good with quick turnaround time, some of the items weren't as expected. While chicken Manchow soup was good, it wasn't manchow soup. The chicken pieces in Kadapa chicken and biriyani wasn't good as it was hard despite cooked well. The staff duely took the feedback. The desserts were good in taste. The staff are polite and friendly. The prices are worthy of thr taste and quantity. I am surely going to try the place again to try...

I had Andhra veg meals. Very tasty. I felt the same taste as my mom's cooking back at my home in Hyderabad. The pappu, the payasam, everything feels as tasty as home. They end with a special guava icecream at the end of the meals. Taste is just wonderful. They are generous at giving appadams (papad) and oora mirapakayas. Pappad was crispy and no trace of oil. Felt so tasty lite and good. I being a Telugu person can vouch for the authenticity. Service is very good. They know what we need and serve politely, with a warm smile. Their service doesn't feel too intrusive. Just the right perfect amount. We bachelors living away from home crave for such homely taste. It is very rare to get this type of a home taste in Andhra restaurants in Bengaluru. I've been to all the big names of Andhra restaurants in Bengaluru, but nowhere could I get this level.of taste.
