Art of Delight — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Visited this place recently , it is located next to Nagarjuna chimney restaurant on residency road .

We ordered - 1.Belgian Waffle + Nutella- it was waffle heaven for me , I rarely have had waffles out in restaurants and in what limited experience I have with waffles this was the best one I have ever had till now ! It was soft spongy and just melted in your mouth and the Nutella was the ' cherry on the cake ' it gave the waffle an extra creamy flavour that just made it awesome ! Must try ! 2.red velvet cheese cake - the presentation is really cool ! The layers are clearly visible and really appealing . The taste was again really good one of the best I have had , the soft fluffy cake was just melting in my mouth , and the velvet flavour was there but it was subtle which is made it perfect !. 3.deep fried Oreo - this was my favourite dish of the night , I have never had this dish before and now it's my favourite dessert. The idea is just amazing ! Deep fried Oreo with Ice cream and fresh cream and chocolate fudge , what's not to like !? It was a match made in heaven I absolutely loved it ! The deep fried Oreo had a really different taste altogether and they went really well with cream and ice cream! The chocolate was a welcoming break in dish filled with cream ! Must have !

This is one of the rare moments where I absolutely love the dishes and the place ! The ambience is also really good , the idea of using tires and tables is creative . There are only two complaints that I have first seating issues , all the chairs or seating facilities are really short , being a person of 6ft I found it really uncomfortable to sit in any of the chairs for more than 10 mins . Second the staff needs some training , the communication with the staff is bit slow although there only like 3 to 4 people I had to wait 15 mins to order due some communication issues with some other customer. Other than that a must...

I was at AoD on Residency Road to pick up some coffee and Nutella Peanut Brownies on the go. The staff, largely from the same part of India, were just standing around and talking in their own lingo and generally acting like they couldn't understand a word of what I was saying to begin with....wonder why.

They don't have a simple hot or iced Lemon Tea amongst the fifty others they display, which is amusing!!

Picking up my order after all that communication struggle, on opening it a few minutes later, I was dismayed to find that it was so badly packed....all four brownies had just been thrown into the box together, I guess, because they had all melted into one gooey mess. I'm not even sure if they had given me 4 since the staff pretended not to understand anything I was saying....I was just asking for the Box of 4 deal that was on offer. Anyway, it looked like I was given 1 big blob of something that I needed to cut into bits and share with the rest of my company. Awful... I have had decent experiences earlier, but the standards here seem to have dropped since.

The washroom is in disgusting shape as well on an aside.

Good for YOU if you improve and treat customers professionally....we're not asking for free stuff. Also know that we have other places...

When in doubt, always go for desserts cause there can never be a wrong move with desserts. This little place in the heart of the city always hits the bulls-eye when it comes to sweet, brain-freezing stuff.

Caramel cheesecake jar - Every scoop of it was a delight with mouth watering caramel. That smooth philadelphia cream cheese with crackling base was GOOD

Salted caramel brownie fudge sundae - I bow to the creator of salted caramel and any innovation on top of it is TOP NOTCH!! That heavenly brownie scoop with the gooey caramel was an amalgamation of both worlds!! HELL YEAH!!

Mud pie sundae - A chocolate crust with fudge topped with cookies; mild sweet yet makes us go bonkers

Mango sorbet - Sorbet, an all time favorite for me!! That smooth scoop of icy water dessert filled with plush pulpy mango is BLISS

Belgian chocolate ice cream cookie sandwich - Well baked chewy choc-chip cookies with palatial ice-cream, one bite just isn't enough to go through its richness
