Such a disappointment! I’m a regular at Bluetokai Indiranagar, HSR. This is the second time I visited Koramangala’s Bluetokai. Coffee got curdled! I ordered a mocha, had half, asked to warm it again (like I always do everywhere). He got back a curdled mocha. When asked, he said that I should drink it immediately and if it’s warmed, it gets curdled and he can’t do anything. Ridiculous to hear from someone who is usually trained for Bluetokai
Annoying service. He kept on nudging me every 5mins to check if I want my replacement immediately even though I told him twice that I will come to them after I’m done with my work call. Also, they served green tea in a coffee mug. When I asked if they can serve in a pot as they do elsewhere, he said “It will anyways be the same quantity as a mug”. I mean. I don’t know what to say. He finally got me the pot after 10mins with some extremely bitter and lukewarm green tea in it. We asked for lemon or honey to make it better and they don’t have either of them. So we left it as is.
Staff is unprofessional: I ordered a replacement mocha and they were cracking some joke thinking I don’t know the language. A friend ordered something and didn’t pronounce the name of the order so well. The person taking the order laughed at him and corrected it. I don’t think that’s welcome by all.
Washrooms Looks like they weren’t cleaned for a week. The toilet seat was polluted (looked gross). It smelled bad, there were flies in it. The inside of the pot looked like it’s from ages ago and was only cleaned for namesake. Despite all these, there was a great checklist with all tasks ticked and yet the washroom was a disaster.
No water. When asked for water, they said they don’t have any more bottles or glasses available. If someone leaves, they said we will get them. We got them an hour later and when asked for more water, they said the water dispenser has an issue and we can’t get water.
The indoor inside seating had some electrical issue with 2 ACs and couple of lights not working. So seating capacity gone down by 30%
So, all in all, Bluetokai Koramangala is a BIG NO please! Not investing loads...

Read moreOverall: 2/5 TLDR Verdict: Great coffee but it fails to compensate for poor performance in other departments.
Coffee: 5/5 I tried their Iced Mocha. They offer various milk options like lactose-free milk, vegan milk, etc. The coffee is certainly quite nice. It’s their highlight but, sadly, seems like their only saving grace.
Food: 1/5 The Coffee Pancake was mediocre at best. They were miserly with the amount of whipped cream. For a plate of three pancakes, a teaspoon of whipped cream is unjustifiable. The walnut cake was way too dry. Would not recommend.
Parking: 0/5 There is no parking available. Not even a valet. Your best bet is to try and park on the main road outside the park nearby. However, it’s difficult to find a spot there during peak hours. I went on 5pm on a Sunday and was able to find a spot 200 metres away.
Ambience: 3/5 It’s a small place with simple decor. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They don’t have too many tables and don’t take reservations either. So you might want to avoid this place at peak hours.
Service: 2/5 While the staff are friendly and polite, the service was painfully slow. It took nearly 30 mins (and two visits to the counter with reminders) to get our iced mocha.
Value for money: 2/5 Coffee and food comes to about 500 per person. They do not support bill payments...
