This spot has the cutest, most homely vibes—ideal for a relaxing dinner or afternoon drinks. The pizza is delicious, the salad is a showstopper, and the fries are spot on. My favorite was the cold coffee, which paired perfectly with everything. The warm, wooden aesthetic makes it feel so inviting. The wine? Definitely needed a refill! Can't wait to go back.
Warm Vibes and Pizzas 🍕
This is, in my opinion, one of the best Italian pizza places in Bangalore. The outdoor seating was perfect for enjoying some delicious pizzas and a drink with friends. They also offer vegan options, including non-dairy cheese for their pizzas. The only downside was the coffee, which I didn't find up to the mark, but there are plenty of other drink options available. The only thing that I didn't like here was the management. I observed the manager or owner idk, gathering all the workers and speaking to them in a harsh tone in front of everyone, which made me a bit uncomfortable.
Good brunch place for Saturday Sunday weekends for family or couples to have a conversation and have some good avocado and sourdough bread dishes. Parking is not easy to find. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. The AC area is filled with smoke so be prepared to smell like one later. Food portions are good for single person. Not for sharing. Food was served in some time. Best to do reservations as the place is full usually.
We didn’t know Brik Oven did breakfast. I think it is a recent add on and only available at the Indiranagar outlet. We ordered a Bagel, a toastie, a sandwich and a coffee. The coffee was average but the rest was very good. We didn’t expect it to be that good. Their breads are very good (like their sourdough pizza dough) so that’s nothing new. The club sandwich was wholesome and filling and the same holds true for the bagel as well. One thing that would make this place better is the location. It’s a little dark and in the corner. But that’s not a deal breaker.
Definitely worth a visit.
Good place for Neapolitan Pizza 🍕
Their dessert selection is awesome as well.
Family friendly place or for a casual hangout with friends.
Staff is friendly
The Whitefield location doesn’t have a dedicated parking though but it is easily accessible...
Read moreHad to try almost all of the major Pizza outlets in bangalore to learn that Brik Oven was the best. They use gourmet ingredients, that are both fresh as well as appealing to the eye and the taste buds. Bangalore must be so blessed to have them. Because, what we usually get is an Indian version of the real deal. Like how some famous brands such as FOMONOS might use a random batter as crust; Throw in some tomato sauce, onions, olive, thandoori chicken and cheese and call it a pizza and yet there is a huge demand for that. Why? Because very less Indians have tasted the real deal or what is called an authentic pizza. Also the market is, has and always been rude to the ones that are true to what they offer. You give an Indian a real authentic pizza, they'd still want the thandoori curry mixed peri peri chicken overload with green chutney kind of pizza. But this is a token of appreciation to Brik Oven. I read or heard somewhere that the founders of this art piece have spent off a lot of time into curating this experience, which they could only have organized with all the learnings that they got from across the globe and also from where the real pizza was originated. I am sure, all of this knowledge goes into each of the Pizzas that you might find on their menu. I have tried a lot many of their items. My favourite of them, are the Fig pizza with prosciutto and then the Mad cow. The pepperoni classic may be a bit too overwhelming due to the more number of salty ingredients that goes into them. It's still a steal deal. They often provide you the option to club two pizzas on a single crust; giving you the option to try 2 in 1. Ideal for first dates, when you wanna play joey with your boo. If you are in bangalore and have a craving for pizza, then this is the best spot. Or the only spot for the best pizza in town. But hey you might be a thandoori wala who loves toping your pizza with some green chutney and some extra pyaaaajjjjj; if so...
Read moreThis place is undoubtedly one of the most hyped places in town for pizzas, if not the most. But I’d call my experience a mixed bag. The ambience is upscale and pretty with a nice colour palette of bricks, deep blues and green. It’s specifically bigger and more restaurant-like when compared to their outlet on Church Street. Coming to the food itself, we had their Garlic Bread, Garlic Bread with Cheese and a few pizzas including their signatures like Shrooms and Red-Cotta, and they all tasted amazing, and nearly worth the hype :D However, the chicken in one of the pizzas had pieces of bones left in it, which by all standards is a no-no, so thumbs down for this. The biggest disappointment of the experience though, came from the fact that while I was really looking forward to trying out (and getting pictures of) their famous freak shake, and my friends wanted to try the other shakes on their menu too, on the day that we went for lunch, they said they didn’t have ANY shakes. Considering that along with pizzas, their shakes too are their USP and get a lot of people like myself to come here pretty much just for it, not having any of them available at any hour when they’re open is plain unacceptable. This also left us with extremely little choice for drinks, which now included only your mundane iced tea and lemonade, which tasted good, but can wow you only so much when you walked in looking forward to having a nice, big freak shake. We were quite full by the time we were done with all the pizzas, so left trying their desserts and waffles for another time. The service was on point and left nothing to complain about, and even the prices are perfectly reasonable. So that coupled with the good pizzas themselves makes this a place to look out for and visit. Hopefully I’ll get to try their shakes when I drop by...
