Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I rarely leave harsh reviews, but this experience left me truly disappointed. I visited a Café Coffee Day outlet expecting at least the bare minimum in terms of hospitality and service. Instead, I was greeted with disinterest, poor attitude, and staff behavior that felt more like a favor than service , almost like I was being begged to place an order.

When you walk into a café, you expect warmth, courtesy, and a sense of welcome none of which were present here. For a brand that once carried weight in the café culture of India, it’s honestly sad to see how far the standards have dropped. While brands like Third Wave and Starbucks are raising the bar in terms of service, vibe, and consistency, CCD seems stuck in mediocrity or worse, spiralling downwards.

Good interiors don’t cover up poor staff behavior. In the service industry, hospitality should be your soul and unfortunately, this outlet had none. My honest advice: skip CCD. Your time, money, and mood are better...

One of my favourite coffee shop brands and coffee powder too. Visited here an year ago with friends couple of times.

The service was good, the staff friendly, smiling, patient while taking orders and polite while serving. The cash counter staff was kind enough to illuminate us about the various offers that was beneficial to us. The taste of the coffee is great, whether it's hot coffee or cold flavoured coffee. The side dishes are good too. The desert is also nice.

However at times the waiters aren't mindful about our water consumption, hence they need to be reminded repeatedly to fill our water glasses.

Pathetic attitude of the staff which left me fuming. Had gone with 3 other people & while we were discussing the staff came 4 times in a matter of few mins to take the order which I said I would do it once my PPT was done but they kept interrupting me with awful excuses such as you are under CCTV surveillance, it is compulsory to order for at least 800 for 4 ppl, etc. The worst of the staff was a lady who had no manners & was asking ppl to order like she was a waiter from a 3rd class restaurant and was speaking to the other staff in such...
