As soon as you enter this shop you will get a hearty welcome by its owner with a genuine smile. If its your first visit brace yourself. It will be too hard to choose a chat item from the menu which exceeds 100 chats items. I just asked owner to recommend 2 items for me.

After understanding about my requirement he sincerely suggested Bowl Masale & students special. Bowl Masale: Masale used to prepare it was really superb. Though I felt spicy-ness is bit low, over all the taste was good. Students Special: First time ever I tasted something like this. They mix two types of boti, chips, congres (masala ground nuts), curd, sev. Preparation of this item looks like fusion of Indian & Italian cookery method. However it not only satisfies your taste bud extremely, it also looks attractive to your eyes. Then I ordered floating paani puri considering many foodies recommendation. But it didn't reached up to my expectation. Poori used for it was not so good. Paani was also on bit downside. I decided to end my food expedition with Chiku milkshake which was just good as usual.

Service is too good and too quick. Many customers are regular to this store and generally indulge in talk with staff and owner. Still, they treat everybody equally.

FINAL VERDICT: Food melts your taste buds, Service melts your heart. Thumbs up...

Best Chaats in Bangalore! 😍🌶️

We tried many varieties of chaat here, and each one was a delight! On top of that, their service was exceptional — even though we reached 40 minutes before closing, they served every dish happily. While we were waiting for our cab late at night, they kindly checked if our cab had arrived — such a thoughtful gesture! 🙌💛

Here’s what we tried: 🥗 Crazy Chaat – My absolute favorite! A perfect mix of curd and balanced spiciness. 10/10 🌰 Congress Masala – Ordered this by mistake thinking it was Bun Congress, but turned out to be a delicious surprise! 🥔 Masala Puri – Full of flavor and very tasty. 🧅 Sev Puri – Very good! 🍧 Dahi Puri – Refreshing and yummy. 🌽 Bhel Nipaat – Good, but not as amazing as the rest.

We also tried their 🥥 Tender Coconut Milkshake, and despite usually not liking it, I absolutely loved theirs!

✨ Bonus: They even served us floating puri as a complimentary treat — and it was fantastic! 💖 A big thank you to the team!

I would love to visit again in the future.

Sairam chat is located in the Malleshwaram area of Bangalore. They serve south indian style chats. It is different but really well made. It is a small shop and easy to miss, but it is always crowded and hence easy to locate.
