California Burrito Mexican Kitchen @ JNC Koramangala — Restaurant in Bengaluru

First time I heard about this place, it was from a co worker and he described the food as exceptional but he tells that about all the places he visits. Few days later I came across a podcast on YouTube which the owner of this joint did. I was fascinated with his stories about how he bought a van and started buying veggies directly from the local market, how he wasn't happy that few of the ingredients were authentic taste wise and so he tied up with farmers to grow the authentic stuff. That tells you he is passionate about serving tasty food just the way he wants everyone to experience. So today I ordered a crispy mushroom rice bowl (regular) delivery to try it out for my self. The only other rice bowl experience that I had was with box8. This was definitely far better than that. Only thing is that the quantity was a little bit less. Could have filled up with more rice or lettuce or beans. It would have been the right portion of food that I eat for dinner. But no minus star for that. I guess it must be the right portion for others.

Edit: So I ordered spicy panner today and seems like they took my suggestion of adding a bit more rice or lettuce 😁. This also like the earlier one, tastes so...

This Argentinean fast food restaurant serves some of the best Mexican fast food items like Burritos , Tacos, Burrito Bowl, salad , quesadillas, and some soft drink beverages .

The best food at this place are the Burritos, bowls and Tacos. It has the same ordering system which is there in the USA and other South American countries. Step-1 is to choose your base, then the flavor , finally the toppings . There are also choices of extra toppings. There are around seven choices of flavor that have both Veg and Non-Veg items. They serve beef or pork here. The food tastes very good. If you like authentic Mexican food then the food here is apt for you .

The price is a bit on the higher side as is with all the other international fast food chains like KFC, pizza hut, etc.

The place is very clean and hygienic. You can view the whole kitchen counter . You can stand beside the kitchen counter and view the whole process. But the place has a small sitting area with few tables. It has a handwash and washroom area which is very clean and hygienic.

There is no dedicated parking. You have to find a parking spot on the adjacent road. Parking a four wheeler here in this...

I have always passed by this place but never tried. Located at the prime location in Koramangala 5th block. We went there on a Thursday night and it was almost empty. Though people started coming in around 10:30 pm. The place is relatively big enough and lots of tables are there. Not a mushy place and centred around good. I ordered myself a mini burriot with peri peri chicken with the basic ingredients like cooked rice, cream, beans , hot sauce, tomatoes and onions and some extra jalapenos.The mini size here is a decent size enough to fill up the stomach. The burrito was different and nice. The brand and rice well cooked. And though they only cook the tortilla and the filling is not hot enough.Overall the taste was good. Another item we ordered is regular size nachos with bbq chicken with all the ingredients and extra guacamole. The regular size is enough for a large portion of meal or share for 2. I was hoping the nachos will be baked after adding the cheese but they serve it like that only. The nachos had a different corn meal taste to it.The guacamole was fantastic and overall 3.5 out of 5.We ordered a Coke zero...
