Nestled in the heart of Bangalore, The Himalayan Korean Restaurant offers a culinary experience that transcends borders. With a delightful array of dishes that combine the bold flavors of Korea and the serene allure of the Himalayas, this restaurant promises a unique gastronomic adventure that lingers on the palate long after the last bite. From the moment you step through its doors, the fusion of cultures becomes evident, and the dishes ordered during my recent visit truly showcased the remarkable diversity of flavors on offer.

The culinary expedition commenced with the classic Korean delight, Samgyeopsal. Served sizzling on a traditional grill, the succulent slices of pork belly were a perfect marriage of tender meat and crispy fat. The accompanying assortment of lettuce leaves, garlic, and spicy dipping sauce allowed for a personalized wrapping experience that added an interactive element to the meal. Each bite of the Samgyeopsal offered an explosion of flavors, the smokiness of the grill harmonizing flawlessly with the vibrant undertones of the sauce.

Next on the table was the Shrimp Roll, a dish that expertly combined Korean and Himalayan elements. The delicately rolled rice paper encased a medley of fresh shrimp, crisp vegetables, and aromatic herbs. Dipped in the zesty soy-based sauce, the shrimp roll provided a refreshing contrast to the richness of the Samgyeopsal. The flavors danced on the palate, leaving a tantalizing aftertaste that left me eager for more.

To complement the savory delights, I opted for the Lemon Juice and Iced Lemon Tea. The Lemon Juice was a zingy concoction that delivered a burst of citrusy goodness with every sip. Its rejuvenating tang was a perfect respite from the bold flavors of the dishes. The Iced Lemon Tea, on the other hand, offered a harmonious blend of tea's warmth and lemon's zesty zest, creating a soothing beverage that balanced the meal impeccably.

One of the most impressive aspects of The Himalayan Korean Restaurant is the exceptional value for money it offers. In a city where dining out can sometimes be extravagant, this establishment stands out for its wallet-friendly prices without compromising on quality. The portions were generous, ensuring that both the senses and the stomach were satiated. This balance between taste and affordability makes it a must-visit destination for both food enthusiasts and those seeking a memorable dining experience.

As I savored each bite and sip, it became evident that The Himalayan Korean Restaurant's commitment to authenticity and innovation sets it apart from the myriad dining options in Bangalore. The fusion of Korean and Himalayan flavors is not just a gimmick but a well-crafted culinary symphony that pays homage to both cultures while creating something entirely new. The ambiance of the restaurant, with its inviting interiors and attentive staff, added to the overall charm of the experience.

In conclusion, my visit to The Himalayan Korean Restaurant was an unforgettable culinary journey that offered a tantalizing glimpse into the diverse world of flavors. The Samgyeopsal and Shrimp Roll showcased the mastery of the kitchen in seamlessly blending Korean and Himalayan influences. The Lemon Juice and Iced Lemon Tea were the perfect companions, enhancing the overall dining experience. With its impeccable taste, excellent value for money, and inviting ambiance, The Himalayan Korean Restaurant undeniably deserves a spot on the list of must-try restaurants in Bangalore. So, if you're ready to embark on a gastronomic adventure that traverses the Himalayas and Korea in a single meal, this restaurant should be your next...

One of my favourite Korean restaurant in Koramangala. We found this restaurant online and this place had some great reviews. So we thought of visiting this place. As of now I have been to this place atleast 20 times and I experience the same warmth from them all the time.

Ambience: If you're visiting this place for ambience then this is not a place for you. It's a house converted to a restaurant and it's located on the first floor. This place will give you a home-style dining experience.

Food: If you don't care about the ambience and if the quality and quantity of the food you are looking for then this is the place for you. 🙂 If you don't know how to use Chopsticks, ask them. They would love to share this information with you. Korean Banchan: You're going to get pickled Vegetables, Potato and sweet Soy and Kimchi as side with all th dishes that you order. If you love them, they will be happy to give you more.

Kimbap: One of my favorites. We have ordered Vegetable, Beef, Chicken, Pork Kimbaps and all are outstanding dishes which you should try. Kimbap is made from cooked rice and other ingredients that are rolled in gim—dried sheets of seaweed—and served in bite-sized slices. I would rate this 5 out of 5

Main dishes should be checked depending on your taste. They will help you make...

Himalayan is a great cafe for Korean food, and it is located just opposite to The Dom's cafe/above California burrito. There's no parking space of the restaurant, and it's difficult to access for a differently abled person. The restaurant has an outdoor and indoor seating, with lot of Korean pop culture photos, theme boards and standees around. Some of the indoor seating is Korean-based, which is a good touch. The area inside is well lit, spacious and well decorated. There are separate male and female washrooms, but if you are a woman, avoid using the washroom as we found it dirty on our visit. The food is authentic Korean style, so you will find a lot of dishes that are slightly sweet or not very spicy at all. If you are trying Korean cuisine for the first time, make sure you ask your waiter on how the particular dish will taste. You can find dishes with chicken, pork and seafood here, so if you are a vegetarian, look out for dishes that include meat. The amount of food is adequate enough for one person and the average cost per dish is 350-500. Overall, it's a great restaurant with good service. 8/10 will visit again!! Thank you for serving us Himalayan!
