As soon as I reached, the first thing that I ordered was their Kulhad Lassi (9.5/10) and boy was I mesmerised. It was one of the better ones that I've ever had, and that coming from a North Indian (i.e. me) is a big thing. It was thick, creamy, had a tinge of elaichi flavour and appropriately sweet. Me and my friend both went shut for the 2 minutes we took to finish this lassi as we just couldn't think about anything else. Next we ordered the Malai Kebab (8.5/10) which was again very good. It was slightly on the sweeter side but cooked to perfection. The pieces were succulent and went very well with the mint chutney and onions they gave alongside. Coming to the main course, we ordered a Chicken Butter Masala (8.5/10), Garlic Naan (8/10), Methi Kulcha (7/10) and Tandoori Roti (8/10). All the breads were quite good and went very well with the gravy. The roti unlike many places here, was made out of wholewheat flour which was really good. The garlic naan had a decent amount of garlic, and it gave a really good flavour to it. My mouth still waters while thinking about the wonderful flavours the garlic gave when dunked into the gravy. We were quite full by now and I really wanted to try another glass of that lassi, but alas I couldn't. However, I am going to visit this place again very soon, not just for their lassi, but for the tons of other items there which I couldn't try last time. I would recommend this to all others as well.

Good authentic food taste. Good job. Details below: Taste-wise: Very good. One star definitely for this. We ordered quite a few items and they all were up-to-the-mark. Banjara Chicken, Chicken Kebab, Chicken CCDD, Chicken Chilly, Chicken Butter Masala, Butter Naan and finally lassi. All the chicken items were delectable. Chicken Chilly was amazingly chilly and spicy. Just the way we wanted. Banjara Chicken was freshly prepared. Butter naan was specially aptly crispy. Lassi was nice too. Item-wise: Really nice. Should add some more sweets options. Ambiance: Complements the name of the restaurant. You will have joot chairs and tables. The chairs are actually stools and so, are not as tall. They do have plastic chair if you wish to have. Lanterns at the top. Feels just like a Dhaba. Price: Expensive. But it is all worthwhile because one wouldn't go there as often. Remember it is not very expensive. Because we were six people and it cost us Rs. 2000 approximately. So, just about moderately expensive. Service: Satisfactory but can be better. Lassi was served in a normal steel glass. But only when I asked that to be served in a Kulhad (earthen pot), it was given. This could be avoided. Please provide only in Kulhads. All in all, go here once-in-a-while. It is nice place to go to. I'm satisfied.

Chulha Chauki Da Dhaba offers an authentic Punjabi dhaba experience right in the heart of Bengaluru. The moment you step in, you're transported to a rustic roadside eatery with its charming decor of colorful buntings, hurricane lamps, and traditional seating. The food is the star here - delicious, hearty, and bursting with genuine North Indian flavors. From perfectly cooked kebabs to piping hot pulkas and laccha parathas, every dish carries the distinct smoky signature of rural Punjab. What sets this place apart is their commitment to authenticity. They don't rely on artificial food coloring, allowing the natural hues and flavors of the ingredients to shine through. The menu boasts a wide array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, all prepared in a see-through, clean kitchen. The service deserves special mention, particularly Niral, who went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic dining experience. Despite the occasional crowd, the staff manages to maintain efficiency and warmth. While the ambiance might be simple, the food more than compensates. From the comforting dal makhani to the flavorful paneer dishes, each bite is a testament to the chef's skill. Don't miss their refreshing lassi - it's the perfect accompaniment to the spicy fare.

The hotel was quite decent where you can get good crowd with good food, starting with ambiance it was made up of bamboo like thing and chairs are also of the same. As the name suggests , you will get some desi feel in ambiance that will make you feel that you are at some dhaba. Now food we ordered totally 8 dishes, out of which 4 are veg and 4 are non veg. Starters were quite good and spicy😋, both for veg and non veg, same goes with veg main course, however non veg main course was not up to mark , it felt like something was missing in that(don't know what, only god and that chef can tell us). Along with that in bread we had stuffed kulcha and Garlic naan, both were up to mark, kulcha was evenly stuffed and quite soft. Also as it was a Punjabi dhaba, how can we forget Lassi, we tasted both sweet and salty lassi, both of them were good as per Bangalore (will be below average if that would have been served in Punjab) At the end hospitality/service was very good , all the workers were very decent, quick and very helpful. Ohh the main thing (according to Indian mentality) price....Price was above average, each dish were around 300 or 300+ and quantity is for 2 person. Considering all the above parameter I can say that the dhaba qualify for 4 star.
