Dear PoPo Ventures / The Pizza Bakery Sr Management Team (J P Nagar Outlet)

I’m writing to bring to your attention a deeply disappointing and humiliating experience I had today (19th July) at your JP Nagar outlet at around 8:15 PM IST.

Due to heavy rain and a 30-minute waiting period at the outlet, I placed a takeaway order and decided to briefly stand with my partner in a vacant side corner of the outlet while having some local mirchi fries (as we were hungry). We ensured we weren't occupying any seated space or disturbing anyone nearby. It was outside corner space.

Suddenly, a staff member named “Shang” (not sure if that was his real name) approached us in a rude, insulting, and demeaning manner. Despite multiple polite requests from my side to speak respectfully, he continued to insult, embarrass and misbehave, showing complete disregard for basic customer decency, and even going so far as to insist that I cancel my order and take a refund.

I explained the situation clearly:

We had placed a valid takeaway order. (PFA)

It was raining heavily. (Check weather report)

There was no seating available. (30 minutes of waiting)

Still, the staff’s conduct was nothing short of humiliating. He lacked the most basic courtesy and appeared to take pride in embarrassing us in front of others, despite my repeated pleas to handle the matter civilly.

I expect your sr management to answer below,

Is this truly the standard of hospitality and customer treatment you endorse under your brand name?

Does PoPo Ventures support front-line staff who lack basic humanity, empathy, decorum, and training in how to treat paying customers?

Do your policies allow humiliating and dismissing guests who are simply trying to take shelter during rain after placing an order?

Do you believe a staff member who shows no regret, no apology, and insists on cancelling an order to assert power should represent your brand?

This isn’t just poor service. It reflects a failure in basic human behavior and behavioural training and it needs your attention.

I’m sharing this not just to complain, but to urge your management team (including Mr. Nikhil Gupta and Abhijit Gupta) to review:

How your JP Nagar staff are trained

How such...

I recently discovered the hidden gem that is Pizza Bakery, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer in the pizza world! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked dough and savory toppings.

The menu offers a delightful array of pizza creations, from classic Margheritas to innovative combinations that will tantalize your taste buds. What sets Pizza Bakery apart is their commitment to using only the freshest, high-quality ingredients. Each bite is a burst of flavor, and you can taste the difference that attention to detail makes.

The ambiance of the bakery is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual lunch with friends or a cozy dinner date. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to recommend the perfect pizza to suit your cravings.

But the true star of the show is, of course, the pizza itself. The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside, while the toppings are generously portioned and expertly balanced. Whether you're a die-hard pizza aficionado or just looking for a delicious meal, Pizza Bakery is sure to satisfy.

I can't recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favor and treat your taste buds to an unforgettable pizza experience. You won't be...

Pizza Lovers, This One’s a Must-Try! 🍕 I finally got to visit The Pizza Bakery in JP Nagar, and it totally lived up to the hype! The place has a cozy, chill vibe – perfect for a laid-back meal with friends or even a casual date. You can see the pizzas being made in the open kitchen, which adds to the whole experience. What We Tried: Sourdough Pizza– These were the highlight! The crust was light, airy, and had that perfect mix of soft and crispy. You can really taste the difference with the slow-fermented dough. We tried the Farmers Chimichurri packed with flavor. One of the best watermelon and feta cheese salad *Crispy and perfectly seasoned potato wedges Fettuccine Arrabbiata- Red sauce with lots of veggies . It is very tasty and flavourful.

Service & Ambiance: The staff was friendly and helped us with recommendations. The vibe was relaxed, not too loud, and the rustic interiors gave it a cool, European cafe feel. Service was also quick and smooth.

Overall: If you're a pizza fan, this spot is a must-visit. The quality of ingredients, the taste, and the overall experience make it totally worth it. We’re already planning to go back and try their...

Review: Lunch * Ambience * Nice cafe kind of experience. You can see their brick oven where the pizza are baked. Seating space is very comfortable. Too much noice coming from the vehicles on the road which is the only point they can improve * Service * Typically there is a wait time, they take down the reservation and call you when it’s your turn to be seated. Food is served quickly. Salads probably take more time to be prepared. Staff are very knowledgeable on the menu and good with the service * Quality and Taste * Looks good tastes even better. We tried many things Caesar Salad - Good Classic Stuffed Garlic Bread with Sun dried Tomato - Excellent Popo Veggie Delight Pizza - Excellent Wild Mushroom Penne Pasta - Excellent Tiramisu - Good Blueberry Lemonade Kombucha - Excellent Coconut Water Expresso - Good Watermelon & Mint Juice - Good * Value for Money * Prices are reasonable for the ambience and quality. Food comes out really flavorful * Speciality * Pizza base is made of sourdough and they have wood fire brick oven to bake Pizza Best Pizza in town. I have visited multiple times and I keep going back.
