Raja Gobi in JP Nagar is a popular spot for Gobi Manchurian lovers. Here's what you can expect:

Food Quality Gobi Manchurian: Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and flavorful, with a perfect blend of sauces and spices. Some reviewers have mentioned it's a bit spicy, but you can ask for it to be toned down. Preparation: The shop prepares Gobi Manchurian fresh, frying the cauliflower bits hot and adding sauces instantly, which makes it worth the wait.

Ambiance and Service Small Shop: Raja Gobi is a tiny street-side joint marked by a bright green shade, easy to miss unless you know what you're looking for. Long Queues: Be prepared to wait for at least 30 minutes to an hour, especially during peak hours or weekends. Hygiene: Some reviewers have mentioned that the shop maintains good hygiene practices, like cleaning utensils regularly, but uses the same oil repeatedly for frying.

Value for Money Price: ₹80 per plate for Gobi Manchurian, and ₹90 for takeaway. Some reviewers feel it's worth the price, while others think it's not worth the hype. Quantity: The serving size is decent, but some reviewers have mentioned that it's not enough to satisfy their hunger ¹ ² ³.

Reviews and Ratings Average Rating: 4.1 out of 5 stars based on 1.9K reviews. Reviewer Feedback: Some reviewers have praised the taste and flavor, while others have criticized the long wait and price ¹.

Tips and Precautions Visit Early: Try to visit before 5 PM to avoid long queues and potential stockouts. Digital Payments: Raja Gobi accepts digital payments, but there are no toilet facilities. Parking: Two-wheelers can be parked on adjacent streets, but four-wheelers might struggle to...

Finally visited this Raja Gobi shop after hearing too much hype from everyone. Its very tiny shop located in the corner. Its hard to believe that this tiny shop has created so much hype when we see it first time.

Shop will be open from 4pm till 8pm. Within that time only you have to visit.

What's good?

The taste of the Gobi Manchurian was unique and something different. That crunchiness and that masala taste you won't get anywhere else even in the big hotels. They deep fry the Gobi and makes them enough crunchy that it will fulfill your mouth and tastebuds. The quanity which they provide per plate is very good. 2 people can easily fulfill their stomach in one plage. i felt it's Worth of that much hype.

But what's worst?

The worst part is you have to stand in the queue and that que can stretch upto 500 mtrs sometimes. Since it's a road side shop you have to wait on road like beggars waiting in temples for money or food. You have to wait for 1 hour or 2 hours even though you want only one plate Gobi and which I feel totally worthless. Wasting your 1 hour or 2 hours of time for that is totally waste. Since it's a very tiny shop there is not enough space for them to stand in shop. He makes only 8-9 plates per batch and they get over within 2 minutes if any one takes parcel of 2-3 plates and that happens everytime. So he takes lots of time to serve you. Waiting there for a very long time that too on road side is something which I feel waste of time.

But if you are a foodie and have ample of free time, then you can wait in the que and can enjoy the Gobi Manchurian. Its really unique...

I happened to be around JP Nagar, was searching for a Gobi Manchurian nearby and found this place. I thought it was just another Gobi Manchurian place but I was completely shocked by the people waiting in a long queue. We also waited for around half an hour and finally got to experience its taste and the first bite was like hot crispy gobi with flavours of all sauce. It was the best combination for the rainy weather and was totally worth it for the taste. The quantity and quality of the Gobi was good and my personal experience is we can't eat more due to it being too crispy.

I was able to witness the way of preparation and the secret of their crispy gobi is they keep preparing the hot fried gobi(unlike other shops where they keep fried dry gobi In-Stock ) and instantly add the dry gobi to prepare the gobi manchurian and serve us. That is the reason it consumes more time too unlike other shops but it's worth the taste.

The shop is small and you can easily locate it by seeing the long queue even during the weekdays, go early to be lucky to get the gobi else you would be disappointed to hear it is not available. It was unavailable by 8.30pm during the weekday, I am not sure...

Honest review: After waiting for 1 hour in the queue, I finally received my Gobi Manchurian. The taste was above average, but not worth the 1-hour wait. The place seemed hygienic compared to other street food stalls, but street food is street food in the end. While waiting in the queue, I noticed they were cleaning the utensils from time to time. However, they used the same oil repeatedly to fry the gobis (common among street food vendors, so it's acceptable). The price for Gobi Manchurian is ₹80 per plate, and ₹90 per plate if you choose to take it away. They were only serving Gobi Manchurian when I was there, but I have also heard that they offer Gobi Chilli, though I am not sure. In my personal opinion, I would suggest trying Gobi Manchurian from another place if you really want to have it because it tastes like just any other Gobi Manchurian. It's not bad or average, but it's not worth the hype either. If you prefer going to popular places you see on Instagram, I would recommend Rameshwaram Cafe; at least there's no long queue there for hours, and it's not deep-fried with tons of chili sauce, tomato sauce, and whatnot.

If you're a fan of street-style Indo-Chinese food, Raja Gobi in JP Nagar is a place you shouldn’t miss! This small but extremely popular joint is known for its crispy and flavorful gobi manchurian, served piping hot and freshly prepared right in front of you. The taste is consistently good, with the perfect blend of spiciness and crunch. They offer various versions like dry, semi-gravy, and extra spicy — you can even request custom spice levels. Despite being a roadside stall, the cleanliness is decent, and the food quality feels fresh and hygienic. Prices are very pocket-friendly, making it a favorite among students, professionals, and families alike. The service is usually quick, even when there's a crowd, and the staff are polite and efficient. It’s best to visit in the evenings when the food is at its freshest and the vibe is lively. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, so plan accordingly. Overall, Raja Gobi is a solid pick if you're craving a spicy, crispy gobi fix in JP Nagar. Highly recommended for street food lovers!
