If youâre a true breakfast lover, look no furtherâ154 Breakfast Club is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in Bangalore, and the best part? They serve their hearty, indulgent breakfast menu all day long!
First Visit:
What. A. Place! We were instantly impressed with the vibe, the food, and the quality of service. Itâs warm, lively, and full of the smells of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon.
Hereâs what we tried: ⢠My Boy: Two cream cheese bagels generously stuffed with sautĂŠed spinach and mushrooms on a bed of shredded lettuce, served with side saladâwholesome and full of flavour. ⢠Juicy Lucy Burger: A delicious cheese stuffed beef burger with bacon and egg, served with salad and potato wedgesâjuicy, satisfying, and cooked to perfection. ⢠Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows: Rich, velvety, and indulgentâthe perfect sweet finish to the meal.
The food was so good, we knew we had to return!
Second Visit:
We dropped by on a weekend around 1 PMâno reservation, and yet we only waited 5 minutes to be seated, which is rare for a popular brunch spot.
This time, we had: ⢠Iced Mocha & Hot Mocha: Both were amazing. Balanced, not too sweet, and packed with real coffee flavour. ⢠Fry Up: A massive spread featuring pork, bacon, baked beans, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, hash browns, and salsa, served with eggs (we chose scrambled), toast, and butter. A full English-style breakfast done right. ⢠The Flying Pilgrim: A delicious vegetarian plate of garlic sautÊed mushrooms, creamy corn Florentine, home fries, and salad served with toast and butter. So satisfying! ⢠Mushroom & Cheese Omelette: Fluffy, cheesy, and loaded with mushrooms. A classic that never goes wrong here.
Whether youâre a bagel lover, a fan of big English breakfasts, or just someone who appreciates good coffee and ambience, 154 Breakfast Club has something for everyone. Pricing is super fair for the quality, portions, and...
Read moreVisited the Koramangala branch a couple months back, and was told that the JP Nagar branch was even better, so came here for dinner on a very hungry stomach.
Tried the fish and chips, which came with a side of potato wedges, coleslaw, and tartare sauce. The fish was delightful, but felt like it couldâve been fresher. Potato wedges were quite good. Coleslaw was bland and boring, not enough dressing so tasted like eating raw cabbage.
Next we tried the Dawn to Dusk, with chicken sausages and salami, and scrambled eggs. The sausage, salami, eggs, and beans were great. The toast however, was cold when it reached us; and the potatoes were so dry m they could be mistaken for one of those freeze dried astronaut food packets.
Lastly, what shouldâve been the crème de la crème- eggs benedict. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the ham cooked just right. The english muffins: sad and cold. The star of the show, the hollandaise, turned out to be the reason why the plate was inedible. It either had an overwhelmingly strong taste of vinegar- so much so that you couldnât taste anything else. People who have had the misfortune of taking a whiff of glacial acetic acid in a chemistry lab will know what iâm talking about. Anyways, I informed the waiter, who did his due diligence and went to the chef. He came back and said apologetically that there mightâve been a touch more than normal of vinegar put on top of the sauce during plating. Unforgivable! Vinegar goes in while making the sauce, not as a drizzle on top!
So, the food left a sour taste in my mouth- literally and figuratively.
I have no complaints in regard to the staff and overall ambience of the establishment, but the freshness and quality of the food has to be improved...
Read moreI have already visited their outlet in Koramangala, I walked in with high expectationsâand to my surprise, this new location took things a notch higher. Nestled on the second floor of the building, The Breakfast Joint welcomes you with a stunning ambiance, offering both indoor coziness and a refreshing outdoor seating experience.
True to it's name, this place absolutely owns the title of being one of Bengaluruâs best breakfast spots. The menu is expansive, and one reason that truly sets them apart, they deliver on every single item listed, something that deserves genuine appreciation in today's cafe settings.
I went with the Farmerâs Fest and the Egg-Chicken Omelette. Both dishes were impeccably good and satisfyingly hearty. The omelette was made with three eggs, generously filled, and packed with flavor. The Farmerâs Fest, a delightful vegetarian platter, brought together red beans, mushroom with cottage cheese, smashed potatoes, and a fresh salad long with toast and butterâeach component shining on its own.
This is the kind of place you would want to revisit for a slow, fulfilling morning meal. And the best part? Itâs surprisingly pocket-friendly for the quality and portions they offer. The service is also quite fast.
Whether youâre craving a lazy brunch or a solid start to your day, The Breakfast Joint is a no-brainer recommendation for anyone who loves their...
