Crumb together has been on my visit list since january but I ended up being there only in July, its located just opposite newly opened Vega city mall which gives it a very picturesque view, you should prefer taking tables on the roof as its very windy and the ambiance is pretty soothing. So went for a weekday dinner and ordered quite a few stuffs as follows: Drinks :- Virgin Mojito - A very decent drink, infact I would vote it to be better than a lot of places which serve the same. Summer Honeymoon - Well, I ordered the drink thinking of it to be a cooler, freshness was present in the drink but the overall taste was average.
Hookahs:- Silver Fox Pan Rasna and Ice Mint The hookahs were good and helped us get relaxed, the idea of open spacing at the restaurant helps with the hookah smoke.
Starters :- Roasted Pumpkin & Tomato Soup - The signature dish of theirs... The soup was fabulous... The roasted pumpkin was adequately sweet and the tomato on the other hand was providing the tangyness. Veg Platter - Corn Seekh Kebab, Dahi Kebab , Paneer Tikka & Malai Broccoli - Non-Veg Platter - Stuffed kalmi kebab, quarter tandoori chicken, chicken kali mirch and peshawari gosht kebab. The platters that we ordered actually looked pretty good, the among the veg platter items, the paneer was really good but the others tasted kind of average. The non-veg platter, kalmi kebab was fabulous, and the peshawari gosht was very tender... the platters are good. The platters are not on the menu and all items are separately served, though if you do choose for the platter, the quantity might be a concern. Main course:- Stuffed chicken with mushroom sauce - Delicious!! Loved the dish, chicken was stuffed with a lot of raisins and cashews which gave it proper richness, the chicken was cooked tender and the rice served along with it was a real good combination. Butter Chicken - Butter chicken is a dish which should be made in its authentic way and any kind of fusion with it doesn't really work, the chicken was cooked well but the overall flavour didn't match an authentic butter chicken serving. Mutton Biryani - Loved the biryani, the mutton was cooked really well and the spices were spot on, just an advise if you reduce the garnish quantity of corainder leaves, it would help as the corainder gives it a high fragrance which might not go well with everyone. Stuffed Kulcha Veg - Loved the kulcha, stuffed with potatoes and made fresh but a lil more crispyness would have helped. Lahori Naan Butter garlic naan
Well the rest two breads were good and soft, the filling of chicken in lahori naan was pretty good and felt pretty heavy.
Desserts:- Tiramisu - Freshly made tiramisu was a delight, it was old monk rum infused and since it wasn't frozen, the dessert was at a different level. You can go through the photos to find out how beautifully was it served.
Overall crumb together is definitely a place to crumb together with friends or family, the location is apt and if you take a rooftop table, you get access to a nice...
Read moreCrumb Together is that place where you go for dates or a fun outing. A beautiful decor welcomes you and you are into it from the starting.
Ambience Located just across the Vega City Mall, this place is apt for the upcoming pub culture in J P Nagar.A parking space is provided just side of the place which is such a plus point. A beautiful decor with indoor and outdoor setting both on first and ground floor. Rustic pieces on the walls and yellow lights along with wooden decor creates a pretty aura. 😍
Drinks The place has limited yet mix of mocktails and wine. They only serve wine cocktails.
✔✔Highlights 🍹Spicy Indian Mocktail - recommended for the one who loves spice tangy and sweet in their drink too. Loved it. 🍹 Strawberry Pie - recommended for the one who likes their drink sweet. As the name suggests, strawberry crush used. 🍸Red Wedding - recommended for the one who wants to try wine cocktails.Red wine with apple cider. 🍷Grover La Reserve Red Wine - for the wine lover.
Food I loved the food here. Rather than going for cafe type dishes , they have added an Indian, Chinese and Continental touch to their menu.
🔶Roasted Pumpkin and Tomato soup- recommended I am not a soup person but this is a must try here. Served on a big plate with tomato and roasted pumpkin on side seperated by a cream filled wall topped with condiments and minute bell peppers. Such a good and delicious innovation.
🔶Malai Broccoli - recommended For the love of Broccoli and marinated paste made of milk reduction and khoya and cheese. Served with onions, green chutney ( not mint but cilantro ) and beetroot mush. New and delicious taste on the pallet.
🔶Cheese Balls I don't remember the exact name on the menu. Panko and bread crumbs and oil free crust. Filling is a bit tangy which is a let down.
🔶Chicken Ghee Roast I am a spice lover and I would love if they would have added more spice to this. Otherwise good texture and chicken is juicy.
Moving to the main course, 🔶Lamb Rack with Red wine sauce Three lamp chops served with red wine reduction sauce and mashed potatoes and veggies. The lb was little undone and hence made chewy. Mashed potatoes was well made and the vegetables should have been cooked a little more.
🔶Murgh Lahori with Laccha Paratha - recommended Murgh Lahori is one of their signature dishes. Chicken chunks in indian spices and scrumptious taste. Laccha paratha is well made which is good because it is rare in Bangalore.
🍩Desserts
🔶Chocolate Brownie - recommended Oh the good Lord ! Topped with almonds and nuts the brownie is well baked. Moist and little crunch. Added with vanilla ice cream on top. A pure delight.
🔶Tiramisu - recommended One of the best ever had in Bangalore. Layered with biscuits, coffee cream you can feel the richness in every bite. A must try.
The place is exceptional and I can definitely come...

Food- Fantastic. Mocktail Drinks are splendid and refreshing. My favourite was the Lychee Apple and Pina Colada. Appetising Starters. Impeccable quality. Impressive Presentation. The Kalmi kebab was incredible. Stuffed with minced meat, it was Perfectly grilled in the tandoor with an outburst of flavour. Highly Recommended. Chilli Prawns were remarkable. Soft and superbly marinated to excite the palate. Texmex Wings are Brilliant. Juicy and Spicy. Tasty sauce and different layers of delicious filling made the lasagne exemplary. Biryani was nice. Not authentic ‘ Hyderabadi Dum Style’ but it had Aromatic rice with succulent pieces of chicken mixed in a terrific masala. The commendable top notch Veg items that I relished and deserve a special mention are the Malai broccoli and Dahi Tikki. Outstanding Desserts. Absolutely loved the Strawberry Cheesecake. Right balance of sweetness, melt in mouth and a crunchy base. Chocolate fondue is heavenly and irresistible.
However the pasta was ordinary and did not match expectations. Really hard and undercooked. The Mutton Rogan Josh gravy was average. Lamb Shank was tough. The Momos were a let down and can be improved. (7/10)
