The ambience of the place is quite nice with a lot of greenery and bamboo-themed decor. Though, its L shape makes the seating area near the entrance seem like an alley. The service was courteous, efficient and surprisingly quick -- our dishes came within ten minutes of ordering. One irritant was that their menu QR code didn't open the website on any of our phones necessitating use of the waiters phone for perusal. Coming to the food, we tried the Krapow chicken, stir-fried black pepper chicken, the drunken beef and the bok choy with mushrooms and jasmine rice. While waiting for our food we were given some pickled cucumbers and greens that were quite interesting. The pepper chicken and the bok choy were quite spicy and got me sweating profusely. The other dishes were much milder. That apart, all the dishes were very tasty and unique with our favorites being the krapow and black pepper chicken. Though I am not much of a rice person, I had to take some to create a base for the sauces in all their dishes. For dessert, we tried the Persian ice cream and the singapore ice cream sandwich. Neither of them were to our taste. The ice cream was largely flavourless with a bitter aftertaste of green tea (my daughter abandoned it after the first mouth). The ice cream sandwich, though better, was hardly anything to write home about. The cake layers sandwiching the ice cream were dry and didn't quite complement the lemongrass ice cream from a flavour perspective. Overall the dessert experience left us so unfulfilled that immediately after our meal we stepped into the Truffles nearby for redemption with their Chocolate Truffle and Red Velvet cakes. Overall, definitely worth another visit to try some other dishes from their vast menu spanning many Asian cuisines, especially Japanese and Indonesian. It's not cheap but not too expensive either. Worth trying if you're in the mood for some good Asian food. Just make sure to have a plan B for dessert.

A side note for those heading to their St Marks outlet: if you are parking on St Mark's road, you need to pay the parking fee in advance otherwise you will have to pay an additional fine. Also, you need to take out your vehicle within the stipulated time Or extend it by paying for...

Misu, located on St. Mark's Road, offers a lively dining experience with its vibrant ambiance and a broad selection of vegetarian dishes. Reservations are highly recommended due to its popularity.

We visited on a weekend and began our meal with Tom Yum Soup (3.5/5). While it was flavorful and well-spiced, it was a bit watery. The Spice Tofu Avocado Maki, suggested by the chef, was the highlight of (5/5) our meal – a perfect blend of flavors that stood out as the best dish we sampled.

The Crunchy Vegetable Dumplings (1.5/5), another recommendation, were unfortunately underwhelming, lacking flavor and requiring a generous amount of chili oil to make them palatable.

For the main course, the Burnt Garlic Fried Rice(3/5) was decent but not exceptional, especially considering the price. The Pad Thai (2/5) was overly tangy, and despite requesting a modification, it returned excessively coated in soy sauce. The Shanghai Udon Noodles (1/5) were also disappointing, drenched in soy sauce and largely uneaten. On a positive note, the Spicy Chili Basil Noodles (4/5), though a bit oily, were flavorful and stood out as the best of the main courses.

We concluded with the Khow Suey (4/5), which was notably good and nearly matched the quality found at Burma Burma.

The restaurant’s cozy, albeit cramped, setting does not detract from its overall charm. Valet parking is available, adding convenience to the dining experience. While taste can be subjective, our group of six shared similar impressions of the food. We hope Misu refines its offerings and perhaps considers adding a vegetarian soufflé version of their enticing signature cake...

I have been to Misu - St. Marks Road twice, once in 2019 for Valentine's day dinner and 2020 for our post engagement Dinner. So no doubt in saying that this is our favourite place for amazing Asian food. I generally try the veg options and next time I will definitely try the non veg fare but the food is there is delicious. The authentic taste is what makes me wanna go there frequently. Service - The people there are friendly, attentive and nice. They are a huge part of what makes our experience at Misu great every time. You can call them up early and set up the place for a great date night as you will see in couple of pictures. Food - It is a fine dining restaurant so it is little expensive but trust me totally worth. Every bite you take makes your taste buds dance with joy. I love Thai green curry in general and Misu's Thai green curry is very good with all the amazing Thai flavours. My personal favourites are the Maki rolls, very well balanced. Definitely try their Yakisoba... It's a delight. Xiao long bao was a soup stuffed dumpling - one of its kind and soul warming when taken a bite. The mushrooms with bokchoy was a hit. Only thing which didn't titillate my taste bud was soba with black bean sauce because I personally do not like the black bean sauce but my SO loved it so there is no complaints against the taste. Loved their place and everything we tried was a hit. We ordered some cocktails and drinks which were well made and gave me quite a buzz. So much so that I can't stop fussing about this place.

If you are craving for some Asian and come across Misu.. try this place...

Always a Delight at Misu! Kaini was a wonderful server — warm, attentive, and made our evening feel special. While the food took a little longer than expected, everything was absolutely fantastic once it arrived. I’ve been coming here since my first date with my boyfriend back in 2020, and Misu has consistently delivered top-notch quality. And don’t even get me started on the mango sticky rice — it’s the bestestestest! Get there before the season ends — you won’t regret it.
