DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE!

I used to watch their videos on Instagram frequently and had this place in mind for months. I finally got the chance to visit today, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment.

We ordered just two items, and while it took a while to receive them, the delay was tolerable. The staff members were extremely nice, which I appreciated.

However, the worst part was one of the dishes we ordered—“Chilli Paneer Roll, Masala Peppers.” While the taste was initially good, on my third bite, I discovered HAIR rolled into the roti and pan-fried into it. It was absolutely disgusting.

I hate hair in my food, and in the shock of the moment, I forgot to take a picture. I immediately reported it, and the staff took the dish back, offering a replacement. But obviously, I declined because after such an incident, who’s going to trust the food?

They then offered me a cake as an apology, immediately said NO thank you and the staff forced me to accept it and I accepted it, as it clearly wasn’t the staff’s fault. However, what shocked me was that I was still charged for the dish with hair—an unacceptable practice given the situation.

I didn’t raise a fuss at the time because the staff was kind, and I didn’t want to ruin their day. But management seriously needs to look into this matter and ensure better hygiene practices. Compensating me for serving food in such an unhygienic manner would also have been the right thing to do.

☕ Muru Muru, Bangalore – A Cozy Retreat with Quirky Charm

Tucked away in Indiranagar, Muru Muru is more than just a café—it’s a vibe. With its vintage Bangalore house aesthetic, mellow lighting, and rattan chairs, the space invites you to slow down and savor the moment. Whether you're catching up with friends, diving into a book, or playing cards over coffee

🍽️ Food & Drinks The menu leans toward comfort food with a twist. Highlights include: Cream Cheese Bagel Naan – a fusion favorite Sharma Ji’s Aloo Chaat and Cheese Sabudana Vada – crowd-pleasers Soupy Veggie Ramen Bowl – surprisingly satisfying While the menu is limited, what’s offered is consistently fresh and flavorful. Regulars do wish for more variety—think burgers, milkshakes, or expanded snack options—but the current lineup holds its own.

Service & Atmosphere The staff are genuinely warm and attentive, often going the extra mile—like offering warm water on rainy days or clicking farewell photos43dcd9a7-70db-4a1f-b0ae-981daa162054. There’s no loud music, making it ideal for conversations or quiet reflection. Books and board games add to the laid-back charm.

Final Verdict Muru Muru is a heartfelt blend of nostalgia, comfort, and creativity. It’s not trying to be flashy—it’s trying to be familiar. Perfect for those who appreciate thoughtful service, cozy corners, and food that feels...

Muru Muru is a cute cafe in Indiranagar with cozy vibe and comfortable seating. Good place for working from cafe.

The menu is all vegetarian. We started by ordering Railway Tomato soup and Hot Chocolate.

Hot chocolate was rich and creamy. Perfect 5/5 and a must try. Railway Tomato Soup came with a bread stick and a butter cube. It was average. 3.5/5

For starters we ordered Sharma Ji ki Aloo Tikki Chaat, Pasta, Paneer Tikka Sandwich.

Aloo Tikki Chaat was good but I would expect more curd and chutney. Those ingredients were on the lesser side. Can be a little better. 4/5 for me Pasta was creamy and full of exotic veggies. 4/5 for me Paneer Tikka Sandwich was okayish, the fries that came along were good. 3.5/5 for me.

Finally for Main course we tried Jeera Rice with Dal, Paneer Makhni with Rice and Aloo Kulche with Chole.

Paneer Makhani was on the sweeter side which we don’t like much but if you like the sweet and tangy taste go for it. Aloo Kulche with Chole was decent. The stuffing in the Kulcha was good and the raita was too good. 4.5/5 Jeera Rice with Dal was pretty bland and had little salt.

Overall I felt the food was okay nothing very different, however the service and staff were really hospitable.

Hot Chocolate is definitely a must try and it is...
