Read moreI recently dined at Nagarjuna Restaurant in Whitefield with my family of 16, and I must say it was a deeply disappointing experience. We ended up with a hefty bill, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations.
For the vegetarian section, we ordered paneer starters, paneer mushroom, and mixed vegetable curries. On the non-vegetarian side, we tried the prawns and Nagarjuna chicken gravy. To our dismay, everything tasted bland and lacked the flavor we were hoping for.
I particularly wanted to mention how the non-vegetarian dishes tasted. The prawn starter was simply dipped in corn slurry and served with curry leaves, which were over-fried—50% of the dish was just that. As for the Nagarjuna chicken gravy, it was simply a failed chicken curry; I can confidently say that even a homemade version would have tasted and looked better.
It was honestly a letdown, and I left feeling sad that my brother had wasted his hard-earned money on such an unsatisfactory meal. I urge others to consider their options before dining here. If you're looking for a good meal, I'd recommend opting for a quality Andhra mess instead. Please don't waste your money at Nagarjuna; you can find much better alternatives nearby.

The location is hard to miss—it's got a big, clear sign, making it super easy to find. The Meal & The Vibe (4/5 Stars) We popped in for a weekend lunch, and as expected, the place was buzzing! Despite the crowd, my table for two was seated relatively fast, which was a huge plus. We went straight for the Unlimited Veg Meals, and they delivered! This is the real deal, folks—the authentic Andhra taste I'd been missing for ages. Everything was perfectly spiced and delicious. A Quick Reality Check The food is fantastic, but be prepared for average weekend service. It took a solid 10-minute wait for even simple items to arrive, likely due to the rush. It’s definitely something to keep in mind if you’re on a tight schedule. Parking Tip (Crucial!) Parking can be a bit of a squeeze. Two-wheeler parking is limited, so if you're driving a car, just use their efficient valet service. Bottom Line: Come for the fantastic, authentic Andhra food, be patient with the service, and you'll leave happy and full! A must-try...
