A delightful evening

We had the pleasure of visiting The Whitefield Arms (VR Mall), that has quickly become one of my favourites . From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the stage for a memorable night.

The star of our evening was undoubtedly Koushik, our steward, who went above and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional. His warm and friendly demeanor immediately made us feel at home. Koushik’s knowledge about the menu was impressive; he took the time to explain each dish in detail, ensuring we made well-informed choices. His recommendations were spot on, and his passion for the food was evident.

The food itself was a culinary delight. We particularly loved Pork Belly, Saffron Prawns, chilly cheese toast, which was scrumptious.

One of the highlights was the mango beer, a unique and refreshing brew that perfectly complemented our meal. Its subtle sweetness and tropical notes made it a standout drink.

Koushik's attentive service continued throughout the evening. He anticipated our needs, offered insightful suggestions, and shared interesting stories about the ingredients and preparation methods. His dedication to ensuring we had a wonderful time truly made the evening special.

Overall, the combination of the enchanting ambiance, delectable food, and outstanding service from Koushik made for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant. We can't wait to return and explore more of the menu, especially if we have the pleasure of being served by Koushik...

A trip to VR Bengaluru took me to this place for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised to know that it had an external entry and was a huge place (we took the internal entry directly from the Mall) the ambience is amazing with dull lighting and beer quotes written at varied places in the restaurant.

We skipped the drinks and directly ordered starters and maincourse as we were extremely hungry.

Veg loaded tortillas - a great recommendation by the staff, this was made like pizza on tortialla chips. It was absolutely mouth watering. Goat cheese and caramelized onion tartlets - I strongly recommend everyone to try this particular dish over here. It just blew us over. Spinach and ricotta cheese crepes - this was also recommended by the staff and I must say it's difficult to choose which dish is better than the other. The crepes were cooked nice and thin and stuffed with spinach n ricotta cheese and served on a bed of red sauce. It looked absolutely amazing. Pan smeared Vegetables and yogurt cake served with mushroom rice - again a great dish. The yogurd cakes were absolutely delicious.

The staff was polite and courteous and more than anything else, they were well educated about the dishes.

In all, my rating would be as follows: Ambience - 4/5 Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Value...

OMG, this place❤️.

We decided to try out this place one fine Saturday. Located at the heart of Phoenix and VR mall, this beautiful place is like a secret garden.

Beautiful weather outside accompanied with some great music, our first impressions were great. Then, we were fortunate enough to meet Prakash, out waiter. Not sure what to order, Prakash was more than happy to put his reputation on the line to give us some great suggestions for food and drinks. We started off with a tangy Vodkatini, which tasted heavenly, followed by another wonderful drink, the Colonial. For finger food, we ordered some delicious Cavalrys Special, which was a wonderful chicken tikka dish with some great salad. The beer had fruity notes and tasted absolutely spectacular.

DJ Abhi, who was the DJ for the night, played dome spectacular music with insane transitions and mixing. It was absolutely spot on and everyone had an amazing time. The ambience was amazing and the manager was also an amazing guy. Overall, it was one of the best places in Bangalore in my opinion. Absolutely amazing place, I shall definitely definitely be coming back here to have a great time again. Cheers!
