A Bite-Sized Adventure in Spice Overload!!

Well, what a culinary experience! If you’re someone who likes their food to punch you in the face with spice and leave you gasping for water, congratulations—you’ve found the right place! I genuinely have to applaud the restaurant for their creativity because it takes a special talent to make food this spicy and simultaneously shrink the portion sizes to bite-sized morsels. When I say bite-sized, I mean it—blink, and you’ll miss your meal. You might want to consider bringing your own magnifying glass if you actually want to see what you ordered.

The pictures on the food delivery app? Hilarious! Those generous, mouth-watering servings are pure fiction—probably taken from a Michelin-starred restaurant or conjured through AI. What arrived was the culinary equivalent of a practical joke: food so tiny, even a bird would be left unsatisfied. And the cherry on top? The dosa arrived without sambar! Yes, no sambar, folks. Apparently, that’s the “quirky tradition” of this establishment. Who needs dipping accompaniments with dosa, right? That’s just an unnecessary luxury—like ketchup with fries or oxygen to breathe.

To summarize, this restaurant is for those who enjoy being deceived by app pictures, love the thrill of eating searingly spicy food in microscopic portions, and find joy in discovering unexpected new customs like a dosa without sambar. Truly a place to remember—though I doubt I’ll be able to forget it anytime soon, considering the lingering fire in my mouth. Would I recommend it? Only if you...

The best dish in namaste is IDLI.

They have world class dish washer which makes more hygiene.

I had the pleasure of dining at Namaste Hotel in Bengaluru, and I must say, the food was absolutely outstanding! The hotel’s restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that perfectly blends authentic South Indian flavors with a variety of other cuisines to suit every palate.

The South Indian dishes were the highlight for me—each item was bursting with rich, traditional flavors. The dosa was perfectly crisp, the idlis were soft and fluffy, and the accompanying chutneys and sambar were fresh and flavorful. The attention to detail in the seasoning and presentation really stood out.

The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a wide selection of both Indian and continental options. From fresh fruits and juices to piping hot parathas and fluffy pancakes, everything was prepared with care and tasted incredibly fresh.

I also tried some of their North Indian and continental dishes, and they were equally impressive. The ingredients were fresh, the spices balanced, and the portion sizes generous.

What made the dining experience even better was the attentive and courteous staff, who ensured that every meal was served promptly and with a smile.

Overall, the food at Namaste Hotel is a must-try for anyone visiting Bengaluru. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or looking to explore different flavors, their menu has something for everyone. I can’t wait to return and indulge in their delicious...

OLD REVIEW: Yes. I mean it. First week of opening, my review was 5 🌟. I told them thanks for copying Taaza Thindi well for cleanliness, taste and washing. (Even though I didn't want them to copy the menu and dishes exactly same). Second time, with family- Good. Few things got changed. Vada became bit oily and masala dosa was not done properly.

Today again. Saw totally different things. Most of the guys having mask but kept below the mouth. (What's the use of that). The guy taking idli out from the idli stand not wearing the gloves. Saw the same guy cleaning that area with a cloth with same hand. The guy serving idli was doing 'hand beat' on the table. Just peeked in to washing area and saw not so good scene there. Dust on spoon (may be road construction). Masala dosa was not cooked like first time. Vada was oily (compared to first day which was crisp without oil).

5 to 4 and now 3 🌟. Actually I thought of giving 2 Star for the drop in quality. People may still eat and come. Was having food from Taaza Thindi for years. Except for the crowd, no difference in Taste and Hygiene.

Please improve... Don't want to see this standard especially when you started...

I have mixed feelings about my experience. This place primarily focuses on hygiene, offering a limited South Indian breakfast menu alongside a few Chinese starters and lunch and dinner options, including noodles and fried rice. However, I found nothing particularly special about this restaurant. While some people mention it's cheaper, I must note that the portion sizes are significantly smaller compared to other establishments. I was especially disappointed with the Masala dosa, which had a very sparse filling of aloo palya. When I brought this up with the staff, they didn't seem too concerned about addressing the issue. Another major drawback of this restaurant is the parking situation. The narrow and crowded road makes finding a parking spot nearly impossible. This inconvenience can be a significant hassle for diners. In summary, I would rate Namaste restaurant 1 out of 5 stars. The limited portions and poor service were major downsides for me. If you're in a hurry and looking for a quick bite, it might be worth a visit, but I strongly recommend arriving on a two-wheeler to avoid parking woes.

I recently visited Namaste BTM, and it's truly a gem for vegetarian food enthusiasts. The idli here deserves a solid 5/5 – soft, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. The vada is equally impressive, earning another 5/5 for its delightful crispiness. The masala dosa, though slightly shy of perfection, stands at a commendable 4/5. The coffee at Namaste BTM is delightful, complementing the flavors of the dishes perfectly. The poori, served in sets of three, earns a respectable 4/5. It's evident that the chefs put effort into maintaining quality and taste. The ambiance is vibrant, creating a pleasant dining experience. However, be prepared for crowds during peak hours and weekends. Despite the rush, the service remains efficient. If you're a breakfast enthusiast in the BTM area, Namaste is a must-visit. The combination of excellent food, good coffee, and a bustling atmosphere makes it a standout choice. Overall, a delightful spot for a vegetarian breakfast that I highly recommend.

Clean, hygienic South Indian place serving delicious food! Namaste is your usual Darshini style pay and eat joint serving up your usual Bengaluru staples such as Idli, Dosa, Khara Bhaat etc. The food is quite good especially the idlis which are more Tamil style as opposed to its Bengaluru cousin, the Thatte Idli. Wadas are ok. The sambar is your usual Bengaluru style sweet syrupy dilution! Not a fan! The star for me is the green chutney which is served with all dishes. I’ve tried the Idli-Wada and the Ragi Rotti. Thoroughly enjoyed both the dishes! The place is maintained very hygienically. They especially mention their state of the art dish washing machine with organic dish washer liquid, which I’ve never seen any restaurant brag about! As for tea/coffee, just go to Blooming Tales which is next door. They make much better filter coffee! I’ll be returning to this place for my morning breakfast!
