I discovered sridevi bakery in 2018.

After a sunday morning bike ride, while returning home I wanted to drink a nice chai. I saw a small bakery - in almost the basement - of the building and a large number of steps heading down to the shop. But with a huge crowd outside. So I thought the tea must be good.

I went in and was about to order the tea, when I heard the guy in the shop shout, "Gingeeeeeer." He kept a slightly different glass on the counter compared to the normal tea glass. That looked good and I thought I should order that. So I ordered the spl ginger tea. I had to wait slightly longer for it as it's made seperately. After some time the guy shouted again, "Gingeeeeeer." I took the glass, sat on one of the steps and took the 1st sip.

Seriously, it was like a hero meeting a heroine in a hindi movie. My hair flew, eyes grew wider and I blinked twice. The hair flow was not because of a sudden air flow (wind). The chai was like an electric shock! The amount of dry ginger that each cup packs is astounding. It's strong yet tasty. Trust me, it's one of the best chai's in BTM if not Bangalore. If you like your chai's kadak, you need to have this one.

I've enjoyed taking many friends to this place and getting them a ginger tea. It's nice to see their expressions after their 1st sip :) Enough said. Go and order your cup. And while you are at it, ask them for a bun maska. (Tell them to heat it and...

I am a regular customer to this bakery, I go for their fresh buns and sometimes puff! Just before 2 days I went there and purchased a paneer puff (pls note Chicken puff was unavailable), then when I bought it home and ate it, to my horror the parneer were nothing like paneer it was all chewey and had some outer cover which could not be enen chewed, this was not my first time of buying paneer puff from them! Never had anything more disgusting then that, fast forward to yesterday I am having food poisioning and fever, guess where it came from!!! Already the puff is so greasy I don't know they add some vegetable ghee to it (probably cheap quality because it leaves a greasy texture on my plate and it's nothing like butter)! I visited to the bakery asked ginger tea they told that half cannot given they told it will charge 18 rs for ginger tea i told ok and order and they given but it was hot so i asked the tissue but i got bad experience from them telling they cannot give the tissue for singal tea i was very disappoint the way they are treating to cusomer and i told take back to tea and pay 18 rs also they are getting good business but they are respecting Customer treating like beggers to customer please don't go to this bakery looting money...
