(IT was 105, Dickenson Road, ) I had a very worst experience with Vasudev Adigas. Recently I have order 35 sandwich over phone for next day morning. Next day morning I went to collect and pay, after paying I said to manager can you please take order for tomorrow morning also and deliver it to same address and I said I will be not there for tomorrow so I want to pay full amount now, can you make advance order bill please.? Hotel manager (south Indian) he wrote in small white paper and give it to me and i said can you give me printed bill or put stamp on white paper for proof. He said we can't give advance bill or stamp it_if you want take white paper only, then I said can you send by email original photo copy bill by tomorrow then.! because i will be not there for few days in office and I want it for refund he said ok and went other side. I said take my email id no.!_ He got angry and said how can we give you advance bill ? and I said no, I just ask we can order by paying advance in KFC & McDonal etc. .so. By pointing pinger he said this is Vasudev Adiga's not McDonal. I thought may be he did not understand or not educated appointed employee by owner, I came out by saying thank you for your attitude. (on the way I was feeling bad..! myself that..! sometime even manager can behave like this instead of more smart in service.. because same-ting I have taken four time from them and that person was...
Read moreAdigas strength has been their consistency, especially with regards to their idli, sambar, dosas and coffee. For a typical south Indian restaurant, their chaats are quite good, particularly the dahi papdi chaats - their bhel puri leaves something to be desired. The restaurant has both a sit-down, spacious restaurant in a somewhat kitschy native decor as well as standing-only grab-a-bite darshini hall as well. The wait staff has been there several years and recognize the regulars. Recently they have a slew of "special" dosas with some unusual combos that I'm yet to try. Their rava idlis and kara baath (trifle oily) are amazing. My only quibble is their tea has not kept up its quality - a little too sweet. Their mornings start slow, despite their advertised 7AM opening, things really become available nearer 730AM. I recommend them unreservedly - great place for...
Read moreAhh, what an experience. Where do I even start. The first table v sat at we were told meals weren't served here. Alright, v shifted to a shabbyly cleaned table without any tissue where the waiter to 10mins to come after a endless calls. It took around 20mins for the meals to come when we saw a guy curse about the poor service as he walked out the restaurant. The soup, panner curry, dal curry was as thin as water and it along with the rest of the food had no taste what so ever. I should mention that the meals costed 200 rupees. By now a crowd had gathered near the cashier all about the poor service of the staff. It wasn't our experience alone. Everyone had something to say about the poor quality of service and the lack of taste for the pricey food. If you are looking for a place to eat, this is...
