A Disastrous Dining Experience: A Food Fiasco at "Gourmet Euphoria"
As an avid food enthusiast, it is with great disappointment that I write this scathing review of my recent visit to "Gourmet Euphoria." This establishment, touted as a culinary haven, left me utterly disillusioned with its abysmal service, deplorable staff behavior, and exorbitantly priced menu. To top it all off, even with my Zomato Gold subscription, I was left burdened with the full bill, cover charges included. Allow me to unravel the chaotic evening that unfolded.
Upon entering the restaurant, I had high hopes, enticed by its lofty promises of gastronomic bliss. Unfortunately, those hopes were soon shattered by the woeful lack of attentiveness displayed by the staff. Their disinterested and lackadaisical approach left me feeling like an inconsequential figure in their establishment. It was as though they had forgotten that customer satisfaction is the very foundation of any respectable dining experience.
Adding insult to injury, the behavior exhibited by the staff was nothing short of appalling. Their arrogance and condescension were palpable, making me question whether they were trained in hospitality or in the art of insolence. Not once did they bother to check on my table, leaving me to languish in a state of utter neglect, and it became abundantly clear that their primary concern was not the patrons, but rather their inflated egos.
To compound matters, the prices of the dishes served at "Gourmet Euphoria" were nothing short of extortionate. The menu boasted extravagant descriptions and culinary creations that were supposed to tantalize the taste buds, but in reality, they were nothing more than mediocre fare masquerading as culinary masterpieces. Each bite I took seemed to carry the weight of the exorbitant price tag, leaving a bitter taste in my mouth that was difficult to swallow.
The final blow came when the bill arrived, and I realized that, despite my Zomato Gold subscription, the cover charges were exempt from any discount. This deceitful practice left me feeling deceived and cheated, as if the restaurant were playing a calculated game of financial exploitation. It is both unethical and dishonest to offer a membership that promises certain benefits, only to conveniently exclude charges that should rightfully fall under its purview.
In conclusion, my experience at "Gourmet Euphoria" was a complete and utter disaster. The combination of abysmal service, deplorable staff behavior, exorbitantly priced food, and the disregard for promised discounts has left me deeply disheartened. I implore the management of this establishment to reevaluate their priorities and strive for excellence in all aspects of their service. Until then, I advise potential diners to steer clear of this culinary catastrophe and seek a more worthy establishment for their epicurean...
Read moreTerrible experience - avoid this place.
We patiently waited in the queue to enter and was told that it would cost Rs. 3,000 to enter (1 guy, 4 girls). After 15 odd minutes, the bouncer asked us to pay and the price suddenly went up to Rs. 6,000. Terrible communication but we paid. It didn’t end there.
We ordered drinks at the bar. The bartender (picture attached) gave us the wrong drinks and charged us for it. After a lot of fighting, he admitted his mistake and offered to refund us the amount. Instead of refunding us Rs. 620, for the drinks he wrongly charged us for, he gave us only Rs. 220. We put up a fight and he finally refunded us the balance.
Then, we asked him to give us the drinks we wanted and he again gave us the wrong order, followed by not refunding us the full amount. It was at this point that he told us that the drink we wanted wasn’t available. After fighting (again!) he refunded the full amount. We asked him whether gin was available and he said yes. But he refused to serve us - because he was mad that we put up a fight for the amount he had cheated us for.
I took this up with the manager, Nirdal, who refused to help sort this out. He said that the bartender might have misheard our order. Two points - 1. I typed my order out on my phone, showed it to the bartender, no way he could’ve misheard it. 2. Even if he misheard it, why did he refund incorrect amounts on two occasions?
Nirdal took me to another floor and got me my drinks but offered no apology, and didn’t speak to the bartender for his unethical activities. It makes me think that this place operates on unethical practices to make quick money. There is zero accountability and very unscrupulous behaviour - they’re cheats. Avoid partying here at all costs. Go somewhere else instead. Don’t ruin your night.
I will be following up with official complaints for deficiency of service, well within my rights of consumer protection provisions. They’re preying on people with money to make a quick buck, tough luck that they did it to me. Best of...
Read moreSecret Story- Bar and Kirchen, located on the bustling 12th Main of Indirangar and spread over 3rd and 4th floor just above Araku Coffee.
The moment you step-in, you are taken back in awe with the well thought and beautifully executed ambience. The Bar here is the main draw with the Wooden Panelling along with the glass that faces inside on the third floor and outside on the fourth floor. A Single pillar like appearance done brilliantly to perfection.
The Place is huge and can easily accommodate around 160-170 pax at full capacity. Reservations highly recommended as the place is new and buzz of the town.
Service here takes bit of a time given the huge crowd they serve and you need to sit back and relax to enjoy a well deserved break from the monotony of life.
The Mixologist is good here and hits the right spot on taste in Cocktails. Tried the Cosmopolitan and Mojito.
