Fully disappointing. We had visited this restaurant with family on the opening day - a few weeks ago - because it was new. And indeed, the food was good, with Authentic Andhra spicy flavour. So with this high hope, we had brought a guest, who visits us rarely because of the distance of our two places, for some good time. But this decision spoiled the whole day and good vibes we expected from the get-together. We ordered Lemon Coriander soup, Tandoori Chicken, 3 non-veg meals and Virgin Mojito. First came the Lemon Coriander soup, with no salt. This was somewhat okayish compared to the other dishes. Next the Tandoori Chicken and oh my god - we didn't know if it was Tandoori Chicken or uncooked raw meat. Forget about no salt, no spice and no masala, the chicken wasn't even marinated. The green chutney given as a side dippung sauce wasn't even like green chutney. Next the meals came. And I also would have to add that the service waiters have no table manners. Just as we are still eating the starters, they keep the meal plates on the table crowding it even after we continuously complained for them to bring in the main course after the starters. But we still had some hope thinking that the meals would ateast be good because they promised chicken dishes, egg dishes and fish dishes. But no, if anything it was even worse. The chicken dish had no spice, no salt. The egg wasn't even like egg curry, it was more like some sweet. Next the fish curry, namely Nellore Chapala Pulusu, had us questioning if this was actually marinated and was added the masalas or if they just took some random fish out of a pond and put it in some random curry made of plain water. Even the rice seemed like cheap ration rice given for free. The other dishes like Sambar, Gobi fry, Rasam were all sweet. After all this sweet, the actual sweet served wasn't even like sweet. And after eating Buttermilk Curry we got to know that all the salt was reserved for this so that it could be super salty. And each meal was ₹500 and change which made the entire bill go ₹2700 and change. Totally not worth at all. When we had complained about this, the manager had come to speak with us and told us some stupid reason that the reason they aren't adding any salt and spice was because people who are not from Andhra complained the food was overwhelmingly spicy. But the whole concept of Andhra's food is spice, so if that is lost, why should the restaurant still function? I understand if it is too spicy then they can lower their spice levels cook in maybe medium spicy level but they decided to go completely down to the state where no one can eat it. Totally worthless. If you are from Andhra/Telangana looking for Authentic Telugu food, please do not go here, it is a total waste and completely disappointing. This ruined the time we wanted to spend with our...
