As a resident of Whitefield for the last 7 years, if there was one thing that the locality really missed was a good Chinese restaurant. Although Mainland China, Bangalore Mandarin and the recently opened Chowman all have their presence, they all have their shortcomings.
Mainland China is super expensive, Bangalore Mandarin food is outright horrible to the extent I really wonder how they are still in business and Chowman is a hit or miss when it comes to their dishes. And here comes Szechuan Dragon which checks all the boxes.

4 Wheeler Parking ❌ No TOFU options for Vegans.❌ Shout out to Mr Janak who really made sure to put his best foot forward when it comes to service.
Coming to the food, ordered Veg Butter Garlic Noodles, Hunan Chicken and Honey Chilli Lollipop. The portion size is really generous and each portion can easily serve 2. The flavours were all on point. All dishes are reasonably priced. Plenty of vegetarian options though they don’t serve TOFU for Vegans. They also make sure to highlight that they use Milkymist Paneer and not an Analog one. Hope they continue to maintain their strengths throughout.
Only issue being they don’t have 4 wheeler parking. But definitely going...
Read moreBengaluru’s weather had me nursing a sore throat, and all I wanted was a hot, comforting bowl of soup for lunch. While browsing Swiggy, I stumbled upon Szechuan Dragon, which had a 4.3 overall rating. What caught my eye was their Chicken Thukpa, sitting pretty at 4.4 with rave reviews and an appetizing photo. I couldn’t resist. The order took about 45 minutes to arrive, but the moment I saw the packaging, I was impressed. The fiery red broth came in a large, sturdy bowl, while the noodles were neatly packed separately in a smaller container, garnished with fresh coriander on top. Once I combined the noodles with the broth, it all came together beautifully. The soup was loaded with vegetables, generous strips of chicken, and had that perfect balance of comfort and spice. The crunch from the veggies, the warmth of the broth, and the subtle kick of heat made it exactly what I needed. Simple, wholesome, and utterly satisfying. Not only did it soothe my throat, it left me craving more from their menu. For me, this Chicken Thukpa is a solid 5/5 — a dish I’d happily order...

The Lee Fu Chicken was flavorful and well-cooked, while the Golden Fried Baby Corn was perfectly crispy and made for a decent starter.
The Egg Chilli Garlic Noodles paired really well with the Paneer Manchurian Gravy, which was rich and satisfying. The Kung Pao Mushrooms were also delicious, with just the right balance of spice and flavor.
The ambience was warm and stylish with beautiful lighting and rich red tones. The decor had a subtle oriental vibe, making the space feel cozy and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal.
Overall, everything we tried was full of flavor and we...
