Their classic filter coffee and Mysore coffee are among the best in Bangalore. My personal favourite is their badam milk. If you're expected to pay 20 bucks for coffee, it better be pretty good. And it is.
Haven't tried a lot of food here. Their Hatti special samosas are good. Their puliogare rivals that of puliogare point. Tastes fantastic, and I just have no idea how they manage to replicate a home made taste and feel to it.
They accept all forms of digital payments like tez(google pay), BHIM UPI, paytm, phonepe, etc. Typical of a lot of stores these days, but just worth noting that they don't lack in that area.
Oh, I usually smoke with my coffees, and there's a shop adjacent who sells cigarettes, but refuses to give you a matchbox or lighter. Pro tip - carry your own. Take a walk down the road a bit, and you'll find a hotel that's closed most of the time, you can sit in front of. It's really close to the police station as well, so watch out.
Overall, amazing place to grab a quick hot beverage, or maybe chill for half an hour. Gets boring if you stick...
Read moreHatti Kaapi is one of the best fast food places that we have experienced any where in the world and honestly no exaggeration. Their coffee and other snacks are tasty and palatable. My raving review of this place is not only for the tasty food but mainly for the way it is served and who served it. This place and was told that other Hatti Kaapi outlets also employs physically challenged personnel. Whenever we visit India, Bangalore being my birth place we spend most of our time here(Bangalore). If I have to have coffee on my own, I only visit Hatti Kaapi. I get to see the broad smile on their faces with salutations. This adds to the taste of the coffee and snacks served. Our congratulations to the owner/s of the establishment for employing these lovely physically challenged but mentally and sociologically very alert and astute persons. As a Bangalorian you owe it to yourself to visit this lovely small place and enjoy coffee and at the same time support the cause of employment to physically challenged. May the Force be...
