Higher Taste is one of the few Sattvic restaurant's in the city. Located on the Hare Krishna Hill, next to the well-known ISKCON temple, parking is not an issue at all. There is ample place around the restaurant or in the temple premises even on the weekends. This place is spread across 2 floors, mainly divided for buffet and a-la-carte. I have never tried the buffet here, however I have heard it is really good and totally worth the price. I have been here multiple times and have had most of the dishes on their menu. In the name of sattvic food, they are looting up! I ordered two veg grilled sandwich for takeaway. All that I got was two slices of bread with few peices of cucumber. For a veg grill sandwich the base is mint chutney which is spread first on the bread then topped with veggies like slices of cucumber, tomato top it with cucumber and place another slice of bread and grill, they applied some kind of chutney which was brown in colour and the whole palette went for a toss. The guys in the counter don't care, they have a attitude as if they are doing some great favour to us by preparing the food which is quite different from what ISCON group believes in. Good taste. It is 'THE' place for those who don't eat Garlic and Onion. People who are true Veggies or VEGANS, this is the place for you. There is no egg used for pastries 🍰, Donut's 🍩 and etc. Veriety f choices. You get bakery food like different Buns, cookies 🍪, Italians like Burgers, Sandwiches and Pizzas 🍕. Also condiments like masala Peanuts 🥜, chakkali, Kodubale and more. Oh yeah you should also try Kati Rolls. This not end of it you get Chats, Milkshakes and Fresh Natural Juices. One single place for Chats, Bakery, Juices and Milkshakes, Italian and Indian Rolls. Isn't it WOW place for VEGANS and those who don't eat Onion and Garlic.
