Another day and another beer destination in the city of Bengaluru. Yuki in Koramangala serves brewed beer with some amazing Pan Asian food. The place is very compact, and hence will be full most of the time. The staff is very friendly, and they even suggest some dishes which they feel you would enjoy. Here is what we had during our time at Yuki.
Mango Cider has Alphonso Mango with a sweet and bitter finish. I was very curious to try this out as I was a big fan of Apple Ciders, I must say that this did not taste anything close to a beer because of the sheer dominance of the mango's taste. Some may enjoy this, while some may not.
Mango Madness is a mix of mango, strawberry, pineapple, and pomegranate juices blended with fresh whipped cream. This mocktail is one of the highlights of Yuki and is surely a must try for all.
Prawn Sui Mai with Tobiko was our choice of dim sum. The dish was served hot, the prawns were cooked to perfection, and the taste was magnificent. A pretty expensive dish considering they give just 4 pieces.
Malaysian Fried Chicken Wings Bao is a deep fried chicken wings dish, with Madura spices placed between a bao bread. The crispiness and the spice goes hand in hand with this one.
For the main course we had the Nasi Goreng Seafood. This has to be one of the best Nasi Goreng in the city of Bengaluru. The Indonesian Fried Rice steals the show with it's impeccable taste, the Prawn Crackers are well done, the Fried Chicken Satay was spicy and nice, and lastly the egg was like a cherry on top. When you do visit Yuki, please try this dish out.
We finished our time at Yuki with a Japanese Cheese Cake, which was so soft and fluffy. A nice way to end your time at Yuki.
They have valet parking, and I would highly recommend you reserve a table and then come to Yuki. Once you come to Yuki, you will surely have a great time.

Read moreI have heard a lot about Yuki before, and finally went there today for the first time. First impression wasn't great - as soon as I sat down was getting some bad smell. Ambience is ok otherwise. After that we placed the order for starters - summer rolls and Chees wontons. The staff was very pleasant and took our order immediately. The starters came after a while. Summer rolls were fresh and yum, Cheese wontons made of cream cheese was super delicious too. Ordered the main course - Khao suey after that. Which was taking too long and we couldn't find the initial person we placed the orders with and when we checked with someone else it looked like it wasn't even placed. Anyhow so after another long wait it finally arrived and again was really delicious and well balanced not overly sweet like how a lot of places do it. We had asked for the cheesecake as well while asking for our main course the second time, as we didn't want to face delays again. The staff came back later and told us that we will have to wait half an hour for the cheesecake as they ran out of it and were preparing a fresh batch. So we cancelled that and asked for the coconut panacotta. The panacotta came after sometime and it was super delicious but I had placed the order also because the strawberry compote was a component in the menu along with it and sadly that was missing, would have made the dish even better. I really hope the service and speed is improved next time otherwise the food was really yum.
Food - 5/5 Service - 3.5/5 (as it was v slow and forgot our order) Ambience - 3.5/5 ( some smell when we got in) Overall - 4/5
Updating after today's experience 05/08
Food - 3/5 average Service - 1/5 pathetic service. Management should look at adding more and better trained people Ambience...
Read moreI was looking for a fine dining place and went to Yuki as it had stellar ratings on all platforms.
I went on a Sunday for lunch and there was a huge waiting. I had called 30 minutes in advance, but their reservation was maxed out by then. There were 2 of us together and we had to wait for around 30 minutes. We couldn't order while waiting and had to wait to get seated before we could place our order.
Ambience- Maybe because the waiting area is not separate from the seating area, but the place seemed small (compared to pictures). It is one floor and there is no outdoor seating. It feels a bit crowded and noisy during peak hours. However, as the crowd subsides, the chatter does too.
The ambience is fine, with a calming turquoise. It's a mixed crowd comprising of people of all ages. Overall, the ambience was 3/5.
Food- The food was average. Both of us were vegetarian, and hence I can only talk about veg dishes. We had mix mushroom and spicy crystal vegetable dumplings and crunchy asparagus tempura sushi. Both sushi and dumplings were fine. We also ordered tofu baos but were disappointed.
Drinks- The drinks looked really pretty. I ordered the virgin watermelon margarita, but it was a bit syrup-y. Overall, the food was a 3/5.
Service- The service was fine. The staff were warm and friendly. Barring a couple of misses (they forgot to tell us they were out of wontons for 15 minutes after our order while we kept waiting, and also missed to tell us each plate of bao had 2 pieces, and we ended up ordering 2 plates), overall service was pleasant. Service was a 4/5.
Price- The place was quite expensive and it cost us around 2700 for 2. However, Dineout was applicable and we got a discount of 500 bucks.
Overall, Yuki was a 3/5 experience and worth...
