I visited this cosy cafe multiple times and had different items. Even though I have rated it 3/5, I have given an item wise rating below. I would like to give a special mention to the manager/owner, he is a nice person and looks to provide quick service and a comfortable ambience.
1.) Khatta Alu Samosa - Rating - 4/5 Arguably the best dish on the menu. The alu filling is very different from other quintessential samosas, but the price is on the higher side. Earlier, 2 small pieces were given for Rs. 60, now after the menu revision, it's Rs. 130/- for 4 pieces. Each piece is roughly 1/3rd the size of a normal samosa.
2.) Red velvet cake jar - Rating - 3.5/5 It's a nice dessert, value for money. Charged at Rs. 80/-, the quantity is decent and tastes good.
3.) Paratha with paneer butter masala - Rating - 3/5 First off, the spice blend is tasty, but it was a tad too spicy and overpowering. Secondly, the quantity given is sufficient for 3 of their Parathas, but they serve only one. Coming to the Paratha, it's crisp, made of maida. But, it's too small in size and rather thin. Invariably, with so much gravy left, you are asked if you want extra Paratha (each extra Paratha costs Rs.40/-). Given that the dish is priced at Rs. 220/-, the quantity given seems disproportionate. It's thoughtful though, that they sprinkle lime juice over the onion salad and give it premixed.
4.) Max and cheese poppers - Rating - 2.5/5 They serve 4 poppers for Rs. 130/-. The exterior is crunchy and nice. But when I tasted it, the pasta filling inside was cold. It seemed odd that they didn't heat it before filling it in and frying. Taste wise, it was ok, nothing great. The chutney given as an accompaniment was spicy and tasty.
5.) Peri peri alu sandwich - Rating - 1.5/5 This was a real disappointment. I had hoped that the filling would be as tasty as the samosa one. Alas, it was a real letdown. They give 2 pieces of toast, filled with pieces of boiled potato, roughly chopped onion, sprinkled with some peri peri masala and some cheese sauce. It's served with salted potato chips and priced at Rs. 150/-. Absolutely not worth it.
Overall, if you want to chill at a cosy place with a quiet ambience, you can...

Chicken cutlet was soft & delicious. It had right amount of spices & was served with in house cocktail dip.
Lemon coconut cookie was fresh & soft crisp.
Blueberry cheesecake was top-notch.
Hazelnut Frappuccino was good but not that great could have been better.
