I had heard a lot of good reviews about their Jayanagar outlet but never got a chance to visit that as it was pretty far from my place. So when I came to know that they have opened a new outlet at Sarjapur Road, I visited this place for Saturday lunch with some of the friends. First of all, I have never seen this much variety in vegetarian food anywhere else.
Food (4.5 out of 5) - The food here is truly amazing. I can totally vouch it as one of the best vegetarian food places in Bangalore. We started with some hot piping soups - Tom Yum Phak and Mushroom & Thyme Scented. Both of them tasted really good. Mushroom was on the creamy side while Tom Yum was on a spicier & tangy side. Then we ordered some refreshing mocktails and appetizers. In mocktails, I would recommend Child Gordos Margarita (if you like a tinge of chilliness) and Lemon Pineapple Kiwi Mixology (if you like sweet mocktails). Tandoori Momos are a must try in appetizers. The stuffing was pretty great with all the masalas. Other dishes which were equally good were Fusion Tikka Makhani Bruschetta (Bruschetta topped with paneer stuffing) and Ching Mai Mushroom (mushroom prepared in Thai style with well balanced flavors). Now, coming to the Main Course, you must try Ravioli Pizza. For crust they have healthier alternatives of ragi and wheat. The fresh cheese was used and ravioli as a topping just tasted pretty amazing. You guys would have tried Peri Peri Fries but here you can try Peri Peri Cheese Naan here. It went very well with Veg Tawa Masala. They have a lot of variety in Sizzlers as well. We tried Hot Cow Boy (Mexican Sizzler) - I loved the Mexican rice and wraps. Finally to finish our meal, we had some drool worthy desserts - NewYork Cheesecake, Muddy Soil (chocolate cake and ice cream with choco pie) and Biscoff Surprise (Surprise is worth the wait - Biscoff cookies whipped in cream put in a chocolate dome and then topped with caramel sauce). All of them tasted pretty amazing.
Ambiance (5 out of 5) - The place has a perfect ambiance for a special celebration, family or a friends outing. The seatings are very comfy. The music choice is pretty great. The fancy cutlery is used for every dish and the presentation of each is just pleasing to the eyes.
Service (5 out of 5) - The service was very good. The staff was courteous and welcoming. Safety measures were there. Also service was...
Read moreHave eaten 3 times and all 3 times even after trying different dishes right from soup to dessert have been disappointing . The soup lacks salt or any taste . Starters like coriander chilli paneer in skewers are tasteless even after asking for their chutney that too was bland and seemed old. The hummus platter has fried pitta bread and all in all the dishes are not satisfactory and extremely pricey . The dishes don't justify the price at all and music is also boring. The chef needs to make food delightful as everything is tasteless. Only becoz of the hype and area this place is getting crowd . The waiters also dont bother to fill water or be attentive . They are just running helter skelter no attention to customer. Ive tried their sizzler wherein the quantity doesn't justify the price , their Burmese khowsuey was bland had no flavour , their biryani was tasteless. This time we had coriander chilli paneer which is bad as I think they use frozen paneer cubes and without cooking or tossing them in with its sauce they simply give it , paneer was hard , outer coating was tasteless. The least of all their green chutney was also old and bland. The waiters take order from us and for long time they don't inform the kitchen and I came to know when I placed the order for soup and starter and said will decide on mains in some time and after 5 mins I called back the waiter and told him the mains order and he was still repeating the earlier order which means he didn't place the earlier order. Looking at their lowest ratings in a row I was shocked that they don't work on their food quality and service. Very very unsatisfactory food and don't feel happy at all after paying the inflated bill . The waiters don't even keep an eye to refill water when empty . Never visiting again . If you really want to experience good food go to Ciciana on kasavanahalli you will love it right from food ambience to service top notch . Music is very loud and the pita pocket hummus is very big in size however the steward said it's mini pockets which was misinformation and we ended up ordering one more starter thinking it will not be enough for two . The hummus pita pocket is big in size so information shud have been...
Read moreMy recent visit to Thyme & Wisk vegetarian restaurant on Sarjapur Road was an absolute delight. We decided to go with our friends and family for a Sunday afternoon lunch, and we were not disappointed. Located conveniently near Anand Sweets, this restaurant offers a fantastic selection of vegetarian cuisine that pleased everyone's palate.
One of the highlights of our experience was the wide array of drinks we ordered. The lemon kiwi pineapple mixology was refreshing and tangy, while the blue lagoon and virgin peach were delightful and beautifully presented. We also enjoyed the flavorful manchow soup, which had just the right amount of spices and a comforting warmth.
Moving on to the starters, the lotus stem dish was a unique and flavorful creation that impressed us all. The mughali roti and hara paneer were equally delicious, and the presentation was impeccable. Each dish was carefully arranged and showcased the chef's attention to detail.
For the main course, we opted for sizzlers for the adults and pizzas for the kids. The sizzlers were a true delight, with a sizzling platter filled with colorful vegetables, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The aroma and flavors were incredible, making it a memorable experience. The pizza was a hit with the kids, who devoured it happily.
To end our meal on a sweet note, we indulged in a sizzling brownie for dessert. The presentation was spectacular, with the warm chocolate sauce sizzling as it was poured over the brownie. It was a heavenly combination of rich chocolate and a satisfying crunch.
While the dining experience itself was fantastic, I must mention that valet car parking is not available at Thyme & Wisk. However, we managed to find parking nearby without much trouble.
Overall, Thyme & Wisk provided an exceptional vegetarian dining experience. The restaurant's attention to presentation, quality of food, and range of flavors left us thoroughly impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a vegetarian culinary adventure in Sarjapur...
