The Sarjapur delivery outlet of 'Potful' is located at just a stone throw distance from our home. In fact, we can see the roof of the outlet from our apartment balcony. We would also very often walk past the 'Potful' outlet while evening walks, but not sure what took us too long to explore this brilliant outlet specializing in biryani, kebab, rolls and mughlai. Nevertheless, it is good to wait for good things in life !
After a long deliberation on what to order, we alas settled for 'Kali Mirch Lasooni Paneer Tikka' & 'Hyderabadi Paneer Tikka Biryani', and the order was served in no time. Paneer Tikka was very delicious, well marinated and flavorsome. Loved the tinge of black pepper and the coriander and mint chutney, which came as an accompaniment with the Paneer Tikkas. The biryani was served in a huge claypot aka mitti ki handi (and cooked in the same claypot as well), with serving size good enough for 3-4 people. It was cooked in pure hyderabadi dum style, covered with thick layer of flour which keeps the flavours and heat intact within the claypot even hours later it is cooked. We ate the biryani after an hour it was delivered to us, but it was still very hot and fresh. Entire home was filled with the amazing & authentic aromas - the very moment we opened the handi. The biriyani was accompanied with a side raita (pachadi) which complimented it well, however serving size of pachadi could have been bigger.
We loved the food and will certainly...
Read moreThere is a thing with Biryani, it comes in so many varieties, packings and flavours from across the country that everytime is the first time of it. I have encountered the such experience again when I have got the Biryani delivered from Potful Biryani, located in Brookfield, Bengaluru.
While awaiting for the order, I was prepared with thought that either it will be the box or the packet in which I would be recieving the delivery but to my astonishment, I got the delivery in a pot containing 500gms of aromatic hyderabadi mix veg biryani and as a starter there was masala paneer tikka.
The Hyderabadi MIx Veg Biryani pot was hot as it was cooked right in the pot and just got delivered. It was strictly packed with a layer of hard paste functioning as a lid to cover up the pot. With proper instructions I got it opened and the aroma of the Clove, onion and other spices just hit me with deep cravings of it. Biryani has been properly cooked and the veg mix has been stuffed into the mid of it, consisting the seasonal veggies like carrot, beans, potato, bell pepper into it which made it taste damn good though.
Speaking of Dahi Kebab, it was good in taste and treat for the taste buds too.
So, in the end, to all my Biryani loving folks out here I just want you to place your first order from Potful Biryani and share your experience with me...
