Visited Zaitoon for dinner on a weekday — there was a decent crowd, but we still managed to get seats without much hassle. Right from the start, I felt their service and ambience were top-notch. The staff was well-coordinated, and they timed the serving of dishes perfectly, bringing them out one by one, making the whole dining experience smooth and relaxed.
What We Tried: Crab Soup: This was the highlight of the evening! The taste and aroma were simply next level — honestly, one of the best soups I've ever had. I would go back again just to have this. Shawarma: One of the best in the city — fresh, juicy, and flavorful. Definitely stands out among other places offering shawarma. Moroccan BBQ Chicken: The taste was spot on, with the meat being soft and tender — every bite was a treat. BBQ Platter: A great choice for variety lovers! It came with 8 pieces of 4 types of chicken — the Pepper and Moroccan BBQ stood out with their bold and well-balanced flavors. Kozi Mutton Rice: A more subtle flavor profile, with tomato puree and veggies giving it a unique twist. It tasted different but enjoyable. Cream Cheese Kunafa: Took us to the next level — subtly sweet, with a rich creamy texture. So satisfying without being overpowering. Mango Fudge (Dessert): Ended the meal on a sweet note — it was so good, perfectly balanced with less sweetness, making it light yet satisfying.
Facilities: Parking is the only downside here. Had to park on an empty land next to the restaurant as they don't have proper parking arrangements.
Verdict: Overall, this was a great experience. From the food to the service, everything felt well-managed and family-friendly. Definitely a place you should try out with your family and loved ones. I’m already looking forward to my next visit — especially for that...

Read moreVisited this place solo after seeing the reviews on Google. Was in the mood for some middle eastern cuisine and decided to give this place a shot.
With the intention to just try their signature dishes, I ordered one Shawarma, One Pepper Al Faham and One Moroccan Al Faham.
The Shawarma was one of the worst I’ve ever had it my life. It was so bland and devoid of any flavour. I noticed reviews praising the Shawarma. I really don’t understand. The chicken also didn’t look properly grilled and was pink. They had one more called Mexican Shawarma but hey, what’s the point if the OG one doesn’t deliver?
Another review said their Pepper Al Faham is out of the world similar to the Shawarma review. It was just okay. I’ve had better Pepper Al Faham’s.
The Moroccan Al Faham was a true surprise. The well balanced Sweet and Spicy flavours was really good. But again, I’ve had better Al Faham’s overall so..
What really disappointed me was the Shawarma. A place that claims to serve middle eastern cuisine had the worst shawarma ever.
The garlic sauce was also really bland. Stick to their spicy mayo (it’s sweet than spicy) nevertheless. That’s better than the regular garlic sauce. But that’s only served on request strangely.
Service was decent. Overall my take is, food wise it’s only an average place and if you liked their food and writing home about it, you haven’t had the good stuff yet. Please head to...
