Bhojohori Manna — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

I have visited many renowned Bengali restaurants across Kolkata, and unfortunately, this one comes at the bottom of the list. The food quality is pathetic, the service is extremely poor, and the customer handling is disappointing.

During Durga Puja, they seem to have started a new money-making game – only buffet options are available, and that too at a steep price and less number of items. What makes it worse is that the food isn’t even freshly prepared here; everything is brought from a central kitchen and served cold. When I visited yesterday, they didn’t even bother to heat up the non-veg dishes. On top of that, they are charging almost 20–30% extra.

Just manageable for food. Not the wow on taste and overall setup of the main branch. The biggest issue is there is no parking and road side parking in the service road is risky as police will tow your car. Park in shoppers stop mall which is 100m further on the service road.

Had lunch pretty late. Ordered rice, Dal , sukto and katla fish. They don't use common sense of serving the items in yhe sequence a typical bong will eat 😄 They took 20 mins and bought all food together. Recently we have settled down in Kolkata from Mumbai and with lots of expectations today visited Bhojohori Manna at Chinar park. But it turned out to be hopeless experience. At the beginning they were reluctant to take order for Thali and finally they served Thali with such small quantity that one need to order two Thalis with normal appetite. They even did not give us any choice of vegetables and also served alu bhaja in place of nenu card mentioned Begunbhaja. The worst part was the smelly glass tumbler. There are far better restaurants in and around Chinar Park who served better varities of Bengali Cuisine. Decided not to visit Bhojohori...
