We visited to have a lunch with family. The place is on the main road of dashdrone. Has a staircase to go to the first floor and then restaurant is on the left side. There is adequete sitting arrangement. There are 2 areas to sit, one in the restaurant lobby and another inside area has been created. Both of the areas are air conditioned. Food quality: Very good. If you like to eat dhakai bengali style cuisine, then its a very nice place to go to. Price is also very reasonable. Food is also very tasty. However it still has the touch of kolkatan style cooking. 🙂. But still quality, quantity and price is good.
Only con (may be may not be) is that you cant avail discounts by zomato pro or dineout here. Card, cash or upi payment is there. We booked through dineout where there was some off, but the restaurant said they dont offer dineout pay. Hence please take a note of...
Read moreOne of the worst restaurants I had food in recent times. Had to wait for 1hr 45 mins for the food to be served after placing the order. Not only us, majority of the customers were waiting. Leaving apart the dining, even there was a big fight between the restaurant manager and the Swiggy/Zomato delivery agents... who had to wait a long long time for the pickup.
The food was over priced and the taste was so so. Kichu Pata bhape Chingri was good but the rest of the items were not upto the mark of the price.
The kitchen seemed to be lacking hygiene. Most of the food seemed to be pre cooked and were kept open in containers. Seemed like things are cooked somewhere else and delivered to the outlet.
Notes: Not sure if this is a problem with this specific outlet but in short the experience over here was horrible and will not recommend to any one....
Read moreOn 24th Oct 2021 I took my daughter, aged 3years for lunch alongwith a friend. I found a piece of iron wire in ' Gandhoraaj Chicken Fry '. Fortunately my daughter wasn't in my place otherwise things could have turned out very nasty. On informing the staff they didn't show any sign of regret nor did they took any initiative to replace the dish. From the floor manager to the waiter there were no sign of remorse among the staff. Secondly they were serving ' chatni ' on brass plates. Chemical reaction takes place when brass comes in contact with sour/acidic substance. Immediately the 'chatni' turned into a greenish substance because of chemical reaction. Overall our experience was like a nightmare. Hence I request all the foodies to avoid this...
