The Bar Company — Restaurant in Dadri

First thing first, it not ONLY ABOUT MONEY, what is unethical is unethical. I went to BAR COMPANY today for the first time which is in GARDEN GALLERIA NOIDA, for which we already booked the table for 7:00 PM through DINEOUT DISCOUNTS going on. Firstly the waiter told us upon our visit that they will not be able to serve us Alcohol with this discount because there were some issues with their dine out app discounts. Which I am not sure how they figured out lately and informed us that the 50% off on alcohol discount is applicable for us. With which I felt relieved and ordered our first wine glass. Waiter told us that wine price is same as sangria price 565 per glass and so we ordered the same ( Note : Wine prices were not mentioned in the menu ). By the end of our party we had 11 glasses of wine. When we had bill, was shocked to see that the per glass price was 665 instead of 565 which waiter told us. Upon asking them, waiter said I said 665 not 565 and when my wife who was with me confirmed that he said 565 only he agreed. Then we called the manager, he told us completely different story that 665 is inclusive of Service Charge & GST. Man, we got him there, We already have a bill with us with 10% services charges on 665 INR and the MANAGER of BAR COMPANY told us that 665 is inclusive of TAXS for which we are again charged for SERVICE CHARGE.

3 people telling 3 different ways of charing. We have original bill of 665 and then rectified bill of 565 with us. Upon asking MANAGER ( SHUBHAM ) said, he has “n” number of ppl to attend, and I told him that I am one of them and so he has to deal with me as well. He vanished after this discussion and sent someone junior in front of us to sort the matter with rectified bill.

See, the point here is, “Unethical is unethical” . Even as per the government rule service charge is only applied to final amount which is to be paid to the restaurant. they have charged the same on the amount WITHOUT discounts.

If Food Corporation is viewing this review, I strongly request them to take an action against such unethical practices happening in Noida’s bars. ,I have attached the both bills Photos to get an better picture how they are fooling customers and if one of 100 will ask question , they are happy to do the modifications in the bills.

This place is one of those places I would love to see shut down.. but seeing the situation of the hospitality Industry I rather not take any drastic step

they have overpriced food and liquor which I was mentally prepared to pay for however on the account of slow service(literally empty place), bellow average nonveg platter and an exorbitant bill of of 4300 for 2 snacks a 5 beer cans after applying 50% off on beer I did not want to pay 550 for service

the worst part is the so called manger as well as the staff was adamant on charging us the service charge .. which is not a tax but a tip that they have applied forcibly to the bill

I reasoned with him that I do not wish to tip so kindly remove the service charge but he did not listen moreover I told him that I work for a hotel myself and this not the way we remove service charge when customer is not happy so he started naming random names... as if to intimidate me worst part is he did not even name 1 person who worked there :D the deal he gave me was either pay the service charge (Rs 550) or I will remove the Discount of beer (2000 approx) so I gave up after listening to such a dumb logic. Its not about Rs. 500 its about ethics

I appeal for the owner to kindly see to it that this is not repeated

Being featured in the collection of Nightlife and Live Music selection, The Bar Company has managed to get in some great amount of crowd with its foods and drinks section. My Recent encounter with The Bar Company was not that special as I thought I had to be in terms of food. Though considering the drinks section, it was up tot he mark and extra effort was put up by the management in order to get what their customers are demanding. Went to this place a couple of days back for a lunch session with my fellow friends and it turned out to be an average one in terms of food.

The food items I had:

1 – Spring rolls: ( On the average side. Nothing much good).

2 – Paneer Lababdar: ( Taste was good and the presentation was nice)

3 – Chicken Tikka: ( Taste was average. Nothing special.)

4 – Dal Makhni: (the Best dish I had tasted in The Bar Company.)

Coming to the hospitality provided by the team The Bar Company:

Ambiance: ( Rocking ambiance with a great set of music. The crowd was good too and the decor was nice.)

Service: ( Totally uncalled for. The service provided to me by the management was not at all good. Delay in response by the staff and not at all courteous. )

Quality: ( Food quality was good and drinks were up to the mark. )
