Today, our team had lunch at Barbeque Company, located in Garden Galleria Mall, Sector 38, Noida, and the experience was nothing short of disappointing. Despite the restaurant’s reputation and a surprisingly high Google rating of 4.6, the reality was far from expectations. Right from the beginning, the food quality was subpar. The starters, which are usually a highlight in any buffet, were dry, bland, and tasted stale. The non-vegetarian options were excessively spicy—not to enhance taste, but seemingly to mask the lack of flavour. The seasoning felt random and not thoughtfully crafted.
A major letdown was the live counter, which was non-operational, removing one of the main attractions of dining at such buffet-style restaurants. During the main course, things only got worse. Many of the food counters were empty, forcing us to repeatedly request the staff for basic items such as biryani, spoons, and even plates. These are the bare minimum requirements expected from any buffet experience, and the constant follow-ups created a frustrating and unpleasant atmosphere.
The desserts were no better—everything from the cakes to the firni tasted like they had been made using low-quality ingredients. They were oily, dry, and had little to no real flavour. The desserts felt like an afterthought rather than a satisfying end to the meal.
Our complaints to the restaurant manager were met with a cold and indifferent response. Rather than offering a solution, an apology, or even a polite acknowledgement, the manager’s behavior was unprofessional and dismissive. This lack of customer service added to our already dismal experience.
To make matters worse, there were no in-house washroom facilities, and we were directed to use the mall’s public washrooms, which was highly inconvenient. This is a basic requirement, especially for a restaurant that hosts buffet lunches and expects guests to spend considerable time there. Additionally, there was no cold drinking water available, which is a shocking lapse in hospitality standards.
The final straw came when we discovered that the ice cream being served was just 5 days away from expiry—a concerning sign of poor inventory management. We even clicked a photo as proof. Such carelessness raises serious questions about the hygiene and food safety practices of the restaurant.
Given all these issues—from the bad food, non-functional services, missing essentials, unprofessional staff, lack of facilities, and expired items—we were left completely disappointed. It’s hard to believe that a restaurant with such poor service can maintain such high ratings online. One can only assume that the reviews are either manipulated or based on very low expectations.
In conclusion, this was one of the worst buffet dining experiences we’ve ever had. It was a complete waste of time and money. We would strongly advise others to avoid the Barbeque Company in Garden Galleria Mall. Dining out should be a pleasant experience, but this visit left us frustrated and...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at Barbecue Company in Noida Garden Galleria. The food was below average, with dry, tasteless starters that felt stale and poorly prepared. The non-veg starters were overly spicy just for the sake of it—no actual flavour. To make it worse, the live counter wasn't functional, which is usually one of the highlights of a buffet like this.
During the dinner buffet, most of the food counters were empty. We had to repeatedly ask the staff to refill biryani, provide spoons, and even plates. It was frustrating to wait for such basic things at a buffet you're paying good money for. The desserts were equally bad—everything from cakes to firni tasted like they were made with low-quality oil and had no actual flavour. Dry, oily, and simply unappetizing.
We raised these concerns with the manager, but she was extremely cold and unresponsive. There was no apology, no effort to fix anything, just pure indifference. On top of all this, there was no washroom facility inside the restaurant. We had to go outside and use the mall washroom, which was highly inconvenient. They didn’t even have cold water, which is just basic hospitality.
I honestly have no idea how this place has a 4.6 rating on Google. Either the reviews are fake, or people have very low expectations. For me, this was one of the worst buffet experiences ever, and I would strongly advise others to avoid it. Totally not worth the...
Read moreI am editing my review for this restaurant. Walk in experience was much better few months ago. This was the reason to again visit it. this time, i pre booked a table using eazy diner. But on arrival, the staff kept us waiting for more than 20 minutes. At first we thought it could have been a software glitch. But then on enquiry ,he told that today rush is too much. It was unexpected experience for us. Would it be too much to expect a confirmation call from restaurant? Before they even give my table to someone else, could not they inform me? Restaurant must understand that people dont come to eat ,they come for the experience. Which in this case the management had already ruined it. Specifically, our indian families know how to cook and they cook it much better and that too with love. Why do i have to wait for 20 minutes to get a table ,even when i had prebooked it.? From today onwards, i will totally boycott this restaurant in galleria mall. Never ever going there. I know many people had the similar experience waiting outside with never ending ETA. Many of them returned annoyingly. I would have given -1 rating but google thinks 1 rating should be the minimum. BOYCOTT BBQ...
