I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Afghani Burger Shop, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of spices and sizzling meat filled the air, and I knew I was in for a treat. The first thing that caught my attention was the unbelievable price range. At just rupees 100 for a non-vegetarian burger and 50 for a vegetarian one, I was pleasantly surprised. The affordability alone made it tempting, but little did I know that the quality of food would surpass my expectations. Let's start with the non-vegetarian burger. As soon as it arrived at my table, I was astounded by its presentation. The burger was generously filled with a succulent piece of chicken leg, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Accompanying the chicken were a handful of golden, crispy French fries that added a delightful crunch to each bite. But the surprises didn't stop there. A perfectly boiled egg, sliced cucumber, and fresh coriander leaves were added, enhancing the burger's texture and adding a refreshing twist of flavors. The crowning glory, however, was the three different types of sauces that were skillfully incorporated -each one complementing the other and creating a harmonious explosion of taste. Now, let's not forget the vegetarian option. Though I am a non-vegetarian myself, I decided to give it a try, and it was equally impressive. The burger was filled with a medley of garden-fresh vegetables, including crunchy lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and slices of vibrant bell peppers. The combination of flavors and textures was truly delightful, making it a perfect choice for vegetarians or anyone seeking a lighter alternative.
What truly sets the Afghani Burger Shop apart is the attention to detail in their ingredients. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were evident in every bite, leaving me craving more even after finishing the burger. The portion sizes were substantial, ensuring that I left the shop feeling satisfied and content. The ambiance of the shop was inviting, with friendly staff members who were more than happy to guide me through their menu options. The service was prompt, and my order arrived quickly, allowing me to savor the flavors without any unnecessary waiting. In conclusion, my experience at the Afghani Burger Shop was nothing short of extraordinary. The affordable prices, combined with the remarkable quality and attention to detail in their burgers, make this place a hidden gem. Whether you're a non-vegetarian looking for a flavor-packed meal or a vegetarian craving a satisfying burger, this place has got you covered. I highly recommend visiting the Afghani Burger Shop to indulge in their delectable offerings- I guarantee you won't be...
Read moreSo I’m not sure if this is the same food stall that i went to, because there were many on the same road, but nonetheless the experience was absolutely amazing The food was lovely, the chicken kebabs and burgers were delicious and unique, comfort food and decadent cuisine But, what made the experience truly special was the hospitality shown by the owners. It started to pour a bit, and our food would’ve gotten wet, so the server asked us to enter their home/kitchen. They brought out stools for us to sit on and let us enjoy the dish. Me and my mom were both a bit stressed because of the rain, and the server started to make conversation and seemed delighted as he made us feel the same way. Telling us sweet stories (they were a duo of father and son, i presume) These people were extremely kind, one could tell that they infact did serve their food with love and pride. And that is what made the experience a hundred times better. The place wasn’t fancy or anything special, but those people were :)
I recommend you guys to try it out, it’s an experience that I’ll genuinely cherish, food always tastes better when the cook makes it with a sprinkle of happiness and a...
Read moreI liked the Afghani twist to a burger. Or should I call a wrap? To me it's more of a wrap than a burger. But whatever.
I didn't find it as tempting or amazing as the hype that's created on social media. The flavours are shallower compared to what our Indian taste buds are used to, so it could be disappointing for some, but I personally liked something new.
And I would recommend adding egg to the burger only if you are a die-hard fan of boiled eggs.
The guy behind the shelf is really sweet and humble. You can have a nice conversation with him while munching on your burger.
So would I eat here again? Maybe if I am around the corner. Would I get out of my home just to enjoy this...
