I recently visited KPG EXPRESS, and overall, I found it to be an average dining experience. While the restaurant had its fair share of hits and misses, it didn't particularly stand out in terms of quality.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including the "jhol momo," taipo, and pork belly. Unfortunately, the jhol momo turned out to be quite bland, lacking the flavors that one would expect from this popular Nepali dish. It was a letdown, and I was disappointed with its taste.
The taipo, on the other hand, had a major flaw. The crust was over fermented, resulting in a slightly unpleasant texture. It seemed like the dough had been left to rise for too long, affecting the overall taste and enjoyment of the dish. This was definitely a downside, as the taipo had the potential to be a standout item.
Thankfully, the pork belly managed to redeem the meal to some extent. While it wasn't excellent, it was good. The pork belly had a decent flavor, and the meat was cooked well. However, it fell short of being a truly exceptional dish that would make me want to return solely for it.
Moving on to the ambience, it was okay but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant's air conditioning was kept at a low level, which might be uncomfortable for some customers, especially during hotter days. Additionally, there was a fan in the dining area that emitted a weird noise while spinning. This added an unpleasant distraction to the dining experience, which detracted from the overall ambience.
Hygiene check: please start cleaning tables with a proper disinfectant spray.
In conclusion, my experience at KPG EXPRESS was average at best. If you're in the area and looking for a quick bite, you might consider giving KPG EXPRESS a try, but keep your...
Read moreThe host is good and humble and will serve you what you're really looking for. The reception is at the ground floor. The dining area is on the first, a well cleaned and old school theme based dining floor.
With good food, And with posters of all time favorite rock bands and singers, I chose to play music on mobile. (..obviously low volume :p )
Well, Yes, here comes food-viewz..
Tried two dishes- Pork Momos steamed, and, Simple rice n chicken Thali.
-- Momos - 10 pcs. Reviews - Though in comparison to a little thick outer layer (than usual types),, the chicken n onion stuffing inside was amazingly juicy and nice, giving an authentic flavour to your taste buds. Coupled with fresh red chutney n mayo, it truly did 'Wonders'..
-- Rice Chicken thali - Contents- Rice, Thick curry Masala Chicken, Dal, green chilli chutney, and Pork pickle. Reviews - The impression of food comes with the garnishing of the plate. A simple palatte loaded with traditional plain rice (enough for one adult), the dal and chicken combo will take away your heart.
