2017: I went back to this place after two years and my, the food is even better than the last time. I am thus giving them the remaining .5 stars making it a full 5/5 rating because they truly deserve it. They have relocated and the new place is warm and cozy, with pops of colour.
We had an eco pork thali and a special pork thali. The eco thali comes with a good portion of rice, some ooti (best in delhi so far), a well seasoned chunk of boiled pumpkin and the pork curry along with some eromba. The pork curry is by far the best I have had in South Delhi within Northeastern cuisine and I literally licked my plate clean beacuse it was fabulous!! The eromba too was superb. Priced at 150 bucks, this is super easy on the pocket and yet you walk away satisfied and full.
My friend had opted for the special pork thali which comes with 9 items. There's rice with papad, ooti, kangsoi, eromba, boiled pumpkin, pork curry, dal, another fiery chutney. Everything was seasoned spot on and I have absolutely no flaws to pick here. An extra filling of rice was not charged. This platter is priced at 280 bucks which is more than adequate relative to thalis at other eateries in the vicinity. Our total bill was just 450 which is such an amazing deal!
Service was prompt and the people were really cordial. Loved how they had a sapling at each table. Thank you for the wonderful Manipuri experience guys. Keep up the culinary masterwork.
2015: I had heard from friends that this place is very small and if I visit during peak hours I might not get a table. So noticing the high ratings of this tiny outlet in Safdarjung Enclave, I decided to order in from here today.
I picked a smoked pork thali. They packed the thali very well; very secure so that nothing really spills over (pic attached below). The food was amazing like I expected. The thali had steamed rice, ooti (lentil prepared with peas), a vegetable stew called kangsoi, the very very spicy and splendid eromba with fresh bamboo shoots!! The kangsoi was a very interesting preparation with cucumbers, potatoes and fermented and smoked fish. Absolutely loved it. The smoked pork curry too was fantastic and super-fiery just the way I like it!! The only disappointment was the size of the pork pieces- out of five, four of them were only bones with hardly any meat at all.
Nonetheless, a big shout out to this place! Looking forward to trying out the rest of...

As I took my first bite of the steaming hot rice, accompanied by an array of delectable Manipuri dishes, I was instantly transported back to my childhood days in Manipur. The flavors and textures were so reminiscent of my mother's cooking that I felt like I was sitting in our family's dining room, surrounded by the love and warmth of home.
The kangsoi, a traditional Manipuri stew, was rich and flavorful, with tender vegetables and a depth of flavor that only comes from slow-cooked love. The eromba, a spicy fermented fish chutney, added a delightful kick to the meal. And the chicken dish, cooked to perfection, was juicy and succulent.
But what truly impressed me was the attention to detail and the commitment to authenticity that Eat Pham brings to the table. Every dish was carefully crafted to showcase the unique flavors and ingredients of Manipuri cuisine, and the presentation was beautiful.
