La Pino'z Pizza, Kalka ji — Restaurant in Delhi

I remember fondly blogging at one of the first La Pinoz outlet 3-4 years back in Gurgaon. The food was good and the prices were even better and it's still the same. Good food for great prices. Recently had La pinoz in 2 house parties and I really enjoyed the Tomato sauce they used in their pizza so I decided to order from La pinoz , especially because they serve that one Giant Slice which is great value.

My order was simple - A Giant Slice of Chicken Korma Pizza and Paneer,Sweet corn & cheese quesadilla. The order was delivered in around 25 minutes to my place and the food was decently hot when it arrived , but as always I heated it up a bit more.

1. Paneer , Sweet corn and cheese quesadilla - This was also served in a giant pizza slice box and once you open it , it's just like a big piece of empanada or quesadilla lying inside , very unsuspecting. But the moment you break the outer layer you see the delicious filling of Paneer , Sweet corn and cheese oozing out and it looks mouth watering. The outer tortilla isn't authentic obviously and is more like a hybrid of Roti and Pizza dough yet it does the job and has a Desi feel to it. The fillings on the inside though is a different topic , very nice and again not authentic Mexican but more American Mexican. Infact the flavours are very much like Chili's, so this quesadilla can be considered a budget version of Chili's quesadilla and can satisfy a quesadilla craving in a good budget. It was pretty well loaded with chunks of paneer and sweet corn but the amount of cheese was just awesome. The quesadilla was oozing out cheese in abundance. I really liked it especially for the price the quantity and taste was really good. Rating this 5/5. I personally think in india the Paneer or cottage cheese quesadillas are generally better than the chicken version (except for Chili's).

2. Chicken Korma Pizza - So for this I went with the Giant Slice sizing option. I never knew about this as it's a really nice option , instead of a small/personal pizza a giant slice is always better as it won't fill you up like crazy. This pizza was bomb in my opinion and no wonder it has such a high rating . The giant slice was completely covered with a thick layer of cheese first of all . Next thing one notices is the generous amount of BBQ chicken topping followed by the capsicum and paprika . The chicken salami wasn't as much and was more hidden due to the layer of cheese. The pizza base and crust are more again like a bread/Desi vibe but it goes well with this pizza style for sure. The crust was pretty crunchy. The Korma Dip , I believe was the pizza sauce, also really complemented this style of pizza. Add the packs of Oregano/Italian Seasoning they give for a full flavour bomb. The Korma Dip has a little kick and loads of flavour while the paprika also adds a great amount of heat which is enjoyable. The BBQ chicken was really tasty and is an awesome topping while the capsicum adds freshness to the pizza. The salami was also nice as it was subtle and adds more meatyness to the pizza. Really really nice pizza and completely loaded with toppings and full of flavours. Highly recommend this especially if it's your first pizza from here and you enjoy more of the Desi flavours in a pizza. Otherwise their veg pizza is great aswell and the pepperoni is...

Very bad experience. Had opted for delivery. For 1.30 no delivery. We tried calling store/HO in chandigarh. No body picking. Since we paid in advance, had to go to store to check. Total chaos there as some offer was going on and whole area was filled with zomate/ swiggy guys. When we went inside after a little attention grabbing cause of chaos, we were told our pizzas, are in oven, another 10 mins waiting. No sorry/no worry from their side even after 1.45 hrs. No we were not given that running offer nor compensated. In home nobody liked the quality as toppings were less, cheese not melting etc. Seriously we thought we were robbed that day and no place to...

This is the worst La Pinoz outlet I’ve ever seen in my life. Whenever I order from here, my experience becomes worse and worse. Even my place is just 3 km away from their outlet, they take over 1.5 hours to deliver items. Yesterday it crossed the limit when they took 2 full hours to deliver a pizza. Definitely a food item won’t be good when delivered in such a careless manner. Each time our orders were over 2000 Rupees for cold and slate pizzas which becomes just a piece of bread with toppings.
