Starbucks — Restaurant in Delhi

I had a coffee and water and was in the coffee shop at Starbucks in D Block, Defence Colony for an hour waiting for an appointment nearby on Friday morning, July 29th 2022 around 11.00 am. I made a couple of phone calls while there and sipped on my coffee fir about an hour. But very unpleasantly on my way out, the barista or cashier, a young woman, shouted loudly as I reached the front entrance, saying, "Thank you for resting here, Ma'am." I wad horrified at her rudeness. I live in Seattle and have been to Starbucks in many countries but have neve encountered such rude behavior. I want to know why I was humiliated ...

It was a rather disappointing experience. As my inaugural visit to Starbucks, it fell far short of expectations. The staff exhibited a marked lack of cordiality. Upon our arrival, the venue, already notably small, had the staff engrossed in their respective tasks. Despite our presence being noticed, we were left to navigate the area unassisted. I have a few favourite Starbucks in India that I love going to. this one is not one of them. staff is rude and I had an experience I wrote to the company about. I got a formal call from customer care that seemed obligatory given the nature of my complaint, but lacked sincerity and follow through. I would avoid this place but it's a nice location so ahead and enjoy the coffee. just dont buy their membership card or merchandise that they are eager to sell but .. it's just a sale to them and they don't honor their own deals and are patronizing. these words are lost on the staff at starbucks keep it simple...
