Bob's Inn bar and restaurant — Restaurant in Goa

Bob's Inn is a casual dining place located on Candolim-Calangute road. They specialises in Goan food. The interior wasn't that great. There was lots of stuff like earthen pot, posters, sculptures, empty liquor bottles and other things that were just lying there. It would be better if owner removes some unwanted stuff and do some renovation.

We went early for dinner, so the place was almost empty. Service is a bit slow.

We ordered chicken vindaloo and steamed rice as we were not that hungry. Vindaloo was quite spicy and it was delicious. It goes well with steamed rice. We also wanted to try Poee, but it wasn't available.

There service is really not good at all. We ordered fish thali and they made us wait for over 40 min before serving our food.

Now coming to the fish thali, there was one mackerel fry, one veg curry and one fish curry. Now this fish curry had no fish meat in it. It was just the head of the fish. The waiters told us Goan fish curry only has fish heads and no fish meat in it. (I am wondering how he thought we would buy it)

Despite being one of the oldest establishments in North Goa, the cuisine was disappointingly mediocre, and the service lacked attentiveness. While the ambience exuded a Goan vibe, both the quality of food and the staff's responsiveness left much to be desired. Our experience was marred by these shortcomings. I firmly believe that rather than engaging in argumentative exchanges, the focus should be on addressing customer feedback constructively when it pertains to...
