There are 4 restaurants at Hotel Fidalgo, I had dined at the others but this was my first time here, and I was delighted- the food was delicious, the service, par excellence and the ambience too. We had dinner, which was a la carte, though they have a lunch buffet, which I intend to try on my next visit I highly recommend this place. Since the above review, this is my 4th visit. When I like a restaurant I keep going there often, and this is one such place, we're a family of 4 and it's a rare restaurant where at the same table one is having Dragon chicken, another Risotto with Porcini mushrooms, I'm having a tandoori chicken, my wife who is vegetarian is having Dahi batata puri and Kachori chaat which is from the menu of the adjoining restaurant, Legacy of Bombay, the food and presentation are first-rate and the service is so pleasant, makes me come again and again and try the other items...

Best for lunch and dinner. Frontier fare, Mughlai fare and Tandoori dishes are their forte. Non vegeterian platter has succulent tandoori roast items and kebabs and is an excellent starter. Malai Kofta, Bread basket are superlative. Expect waiting time as it is always crowded both in the evenings and at lunch times. Bar facilities available. Take out available. No parking facilities. Paid public parking in vicinity is always full up. Cabs muscle in on parking space. We drove from Vasco da Gama on 6 occasions and once we had to park 500 metres away. Water quality is suspect.
