Souza Coffee — Restaurant in Goa

I was not feeling well and have asked for a water with lime and it came at a price of a decent coffee cup, 80 rupees! I would say that a surcharge of approx. 50 rupees is much more than I have expected. Also the place has special rules for using WiFi. Apart from water we have ordered 2 cakes and a big latte. So an hour later instead of letting us use it for free, as any restaurant would, in an hour a waiter approached us and said that we have to buy something else to use the internet. We would probably do so, but the very fact of saying it aloud took me by surprise - I was feeling sick and just couldn’t eat anything more and had to wait for a check in for 2 hours somewhere.

I have visited this place many times in the past, during my 5 years of working in Goa, but unfortunately words about friendly service and a bit of sympathy don’t ring a bell to the owners. Sorry, Souza cafe,...

This place offers a nice indoor AC setting, along with a cozy outdoor area with a couple of chairs and a table for those who want to enjoy fresh air or for smokers. The coffee here is absolutely worth trying—strong and flavorful! Be warned, if you plan to sip two cups by evening, your sleeping pattern might be disturbed, but it's totally worth it for a caffeine boost.

This is the place where Indian and foreign youngsters like to hang out, but not only them. Talking about the coffee, I always have cold coffee, this one that I tried here was good, but still I am an amateur of Cafe Coffee Day's Cold coffee, that's why was not much impressed with this one. Number of snacks could be more. Especially veg ones. Those ones were not so tasty. Sweets looked nice, and that chocolate ball that I had was nice. The place looks cozy.
