The restaurant, one of Ahmedabad's oldest, is located directly in front of the Bhadra Fort. Every other month, I return to my childhood eatery. It has most likely been there for over 20 years. It is not a restaurant, but rather an experience. The quality has remained consistent over the years. The meal is delicious, and the service is superb.

This restaurant, which serves delicious food in an old-world ambience, featuring favourites like tandoori chicken and chicken chilly, reminds me of my high school and college days. Even though the restaurant may use some updates, the food is still of high quality, making this a must-visit for any foodie.

Furthermore, the environment, service, and meal quality are all superb. The flavour is likewise pretty mild. Prices are reasonable for the quantity available.

If you want to enjoy authentic Mughlai non-vegetarian dishes, this is the place to go. The chicken tikka masala is out of this world, the butter chicken is the greatest I've ever had in Ahmedabad, and the tandoori chicken is incredible. The standard is being maintained.

Overall, when you visit, the taste will always be excellent. The meal was fantastic! My mouth is watering as I type this.

The only issue is locating parking, so take a cab or bus. Every time I dine here, it's a pleasure. Although the service is excellent, I now prefer take-out option because this location is frequently crowded.

Visited this place yesterday for dinner. Thank you for ruining my dining exp as worst as possible. During whole dining time we can feel the mentality of the management that they think ‘ We are among oldest places of city and we don’t need any good service/ food for running this place’ !! EXtremely wrong !! We all have seen old famous places closed down due to lack of service and bad food. Food : Chicken chilly had texture like scrubber. Fish dry was smelling bad and Chicken Gravy dish was worst tasting. Service : They didn’t had a tissue holder on table !! For drinking water you have to ask three persons and then only you will be served !! Atmosphere inside restaurant was so noisy and chaotic, dunno why but you can’t relax and have food . Price : Prices are not according to the quality of ingredients , service and taste. Just kept their prices high to look high end restaurant which is a joke. I heard about this place so much and for their authentic mughlai and non-veg Indian cuisines but really felt that this is an "Overhyped" place. May be once upon a time they used to serve fantastic food but presently this is very average.

I ordered chicken tandoori and mutton kasha or masala. Chicken Tandoori was okayish but the mutton was not well cooked, these pieces were actually undercooked and the spices were not properly inserted inside the chunks of meat.

I have had lot of expectations to have some good food from this very famous old yet well maintained restaurant but failed. It is not justified to rate them afterall on the basis of a couple of dishes and single day. I just rated as per my own experience there.
