Read moreI recently visited the Big Yellow Door outlet in DLF Phase 4, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was vibrant, with a quirky and youthful decor that instantly set a cheerful mood. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive impression of the restaurant.
Now, let's talk about the food. I decided to try their highly recommended Butter Chicken Pizza, and I must say, it did not disappoint. The fusion of Italian and Indian flavors was a unique twist that worked surprisingly well. The pizza had a thin crust, which I prefer, and it was loaded with succulent pieces of butter chicken, complemented by a rich and flavorful tomato sauce. The cheese was perfectly melted, adding a creamy touch to the overall taste. Each bite was a delicious amalgamation of traditional butter chicken and classic pizza, making it a must-try for anyone looking for an unconventional and mouthwatering dish.
To accompany the pizza, I ordered a Rocky Road Shake, and it was the perfect choice to balance out the spicy notes of the pizza. The shake was thick, creamy, and generously topped with marshmallows, nuts, and chocolate syrup. It was like having a delectable dessert in a glass, and I savored every sip.
The portions at Big Yellow Door were generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content. Considering the quality and quantity of the food, I found the prices to be reasonable and value for money.
In terms of service, I was impressed by the efficiency of the staff. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the wait for my order was not too long, and the staff made sure I had everything I needed throughout my dining experience.
The only minor drawback I noticed was that the restaurant can get a bit noisy during peak hours, but that's understandable considering its popularity among the locals and visitors alike.
Overall, my visit to Big Yellow Door in DLF Phase 4 was fantastic. The Butter Chicken Pizza and Rocky Road Shake were undoubtedly the highlights of the meal. If you're in the mood to experiment with fusion dishes and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be returning to try out more of their intriguing menu offerings...
Read moreOk okish place to hang out with friends. Went to this place on Saturday and had to wait for 30 mins before getting a table. They currently don't have a wait list management system so you literally have to stand outside to ensure no one else takes your place which is irritating. They should take your number and call you once they have a table in the meanwhile you are able to shop in the mall or anything. The food is ok ok. Given it's a new outlet they are offering some sort of starter as complimentary which is ok ok in taste. Ordered Veg momos, latern chilli panner, nachos, KitKat shake, Mojito, summer passion.
Momos: ok ok, the skin was thick which made them not so easy to gulp down, you will need a drink or something
Nachos: Went to this place coz their South Campus outlet is famous for this and this was nothing close to what that outlet has to offer. If you are going coz you have had a taste and experience of the South Campus one, you will be disappointed
Lantern Chilli Paneer: decently cooked and can be ordered. Not as spicy as a few folks might expect
Kit Kat Shake: didn't give the taste/feel of a kit kat shake. No chocolate finger on the top. Not worth ordering
Summer Passion and Mojito: ok ok, the folks who had ordered these weren't able to finish it, kinda tells you all about these drinks.
Price wise: not to expensive but not to cheap either
They had live music when we went. Given the size of the place, the volume was too loud and that charm of talking to family and friends went down the drain as the volume made it utterly impossible to talk even to the person...
