Comorin, nestled in the luxurious Horizon Plaza in Gurgaon, is an intriguing destination for those seeking an upscale dining experience. Located in one of the most expensive and prestigious areas, the restaurant benefits from excellent connectivity, making it easily accessible for both locals and visitors.

Upon entering Comorin, you are immediately struck by its sophisticated ambiance. The decor is a blend of contemporary chic and subtle elegance, creating a welcoming atmosphere that appeals to the upmarket crowd it attracts. The clientele here is notably refined, adding to the restaurant's exclusive and high-end vibe.

The menu at Comorin, while limited in variety, is carefully curated and offers a selection of dishes that showcase creativity and finesse. Despite its brevity, the menu ensures that each dish is executed to perfection, catering to a range of palates. From traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist to innovative fusion dishes, the food is a delight to the senses. Every bite is a testament to the skill and passion of the culinary team, making it evident that quality takes precedence over quantity.

But there are the goods and the bads. Well, we waited for over 30 mins in a Wednesday even after reserving the seats. Outside was open air with coolers they had put up but it was sultry.

Again, one notable drawback of dining at Comorin is the slow service. On multiple visits, the wait time for food and drinks was considerably long, which can be a bit frustrating, especially in such a high-end establishment. While the staff is courteous and well-mannered ( but do avoid the particular waiter wearing white, bald and slightly aged, he is extremely uncooperative!), the speed of service leaves much to be desired. This lag can dampen the overall dining experience, particularly for those who value promptness.

Despite the slow service, the drinks menu at Comorin stands out as a highlight. The bar offers an impressive array of beverages, from classic cocktails to innovative concoctions, ensuring there is something to please every guest. The bartenders exhibit great skill and creativity, resulting in drinks that are not only visually appealing but also expertly crafted. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing mojito or an adventurous mix, the drink options are plentiful and satisfying.

The seating arrangement is well thought out, providing a mix of cozy corners and open spaces that can accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger groups. The layout ensures that even when the restaurant is bustling, it doesn’t feel overcrowded, allowing patrons to enjoy their meals in comfort.

In conclusion, Comorin at Horizon Plaza offers a dining experience that is both luxurious and memorable. The upscale ambiance, combined with a discerning crowd and a well-executed menu, makes it a desirable destination for food enthusiasts. However, the slow service is a significant drawback that the management needs to address to elevate the overall dining experience. If you have the patience to overlook the wait times, the excellent food and drinks, along with the sophisticated atmosphere, make Comorin a...

COMORIN is a one-of-a-kind dining experience, featuring various Indian cuisines which might also be comfort food for many people. The place is usually crowded so we recommend making reservations in advance or arriving well ahead of the peak dining hours. We had to wait for around 30 - 40 minutes before we could get a place. The place has a nice interior decoration that was quite variant and comfy, the interior lighting was perfect for a date night. The staff was also very humble and nice, they helped us choose the best for us from the menu. Let's come to the food which was well decorated and tempting. We ordered the Bombay Pav bhaji and Malai Paneer Rara for the main course, Dahi Batata Puri with Wasabi for the starters, and Bihari Sev Boond for the dessert. The Paneer Rara was just delicious, it was served with a mint lachcha which truly complemented the well-marinated paneer. The Pav Bhaji, with its soft buns and flavorful bhaji, offered a comforting and satisfying dish. We liked the Dahi batata puri, the slight pinch of wasabi which was added to this street food gave it a different experience. We also liked the dessert, the Sev Boond. It reminded us of the old days when my mom used to cook this for us. The dishes were great in taste with nice presentation, but still, we thought that some of the dishes were a bit overpriced, like the Dahi Batata Puri which cost us around Rs 350 but only had 5 pieces of puri. Apart from that it was overall a wholesome experience
