DutyFree - The Vayu Bar — Restaurant in Gurugram District

My recent visit to the duty free- the vayu bar left me deeply disappointed. They had enticingly advertised a generous 25% discount on both food and drinks, which naturally caught my attention. Before visiting this place I had purchased a deal for IMFL drinks from the nearbuy website.

However, my excitement soon turned into frustration as I placed my order from the regular menu for my food selections. To my dismay, the 25% discount that had been promised was conspicuously missing from my final bill. It was only then that I was informed, somewhat casually, that I couldn't receive the discount because I had already purchased a deal from a nearbuy. The food bill had no relation to the IMFL order. If I had ordered another IMFL drink then they could have said that, but the serving staff started behaving rudely without any consideration.

I believe that clear communication is key in such situations, and it would have been much appreciated if this policy had been communicated upfront. Regrettably, I left the establishment with a considerably higher bill than anticipated, devoid of the promised discount. This experience has left me with no desire to consider a return in the future. I initially chose to visit this place based on positive Google reviews, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations. There are plenty of other dining establishments worth exploring, and I would recommend exploring those options instead.

Lastly, but certainly not least, I must emphasize the need for improvement in their service staff. The behavior of the serving staff was rude and less than satisfactory...

We would like to raise a serious complaint regarding a disturbing incident that occurred at Duty Free Bar, sector 29, Gurgaon. A group of 9-10 of us visited the bar for a weekend outing, expecting a pleasant experience. However, it turned out to be extremely disappointing and distressing. Despite charging ₹1100 per person at the entrance, the service provided was appalling. Our starters were either never served or were of such poor quality that they were inedible. Later, we were informed that we wouldn’t be served dinner because we were “late,” even though it was within the operational hours. Things escalated when the staff began verbally abusing our male friends. A bouncer, named Lodha, went as far as touching their faces, pulling collars, and mocking them by saying things like “grow a beard first.” He even called other men to threaten us. The staff showed no remorse for their behavior and kept provoking our group. As working professionals, we were shocked and felt helpless in such a hostile environment. To anyone reading this – please be cautious and avoid visiting this establishment. The crowd was sparse, the music subpar, and even rainwater was leaking inside the premises. Most importantly, do not pay in advance as you may not receive the service...

I duty free vayu it was not a planned visit actully reached early. and didnt had any other option cz evryone was closed at that time n only they were open . but what ever happened was great. i was keen to visit them but somehow everytime we go somewhere else. so they have got eye catchy entrance as it it monsoon season they decorated entrance with lots of umbrellas n other things. they have got a great cozy sitting comfortable sofas n chairs staff was so cool n understanding. they have got there own micro brewery which produce fresh beer. means everytime u ask for a glass of beer it will be served fresh. we had a strong house beer, grilled fish , n lamb chops.

as beer was good to drink so it was easy to understand the food will be awesom. grilled fish was perfectly grilled n serve on the bed of mashed potatoes n some grilled veggie. this dish is my favourite n i do search for this dish in every outlet

lambchops were wow, tender lamp chops marinared with some kind of periperi spice[might be] but whatever the spices were, they were just awesome, i never had some amazing n delicious lamb chops ever.

i wish to come again n again, but, i have got duty free near my house in rajouri garden i hope they also serves such amazing...
