An Ode to the Wanderlust & a Toast to the Gypsy Heart ... in you 😎
Bikers Cafe freezes the passion of adrenaline rush for motorcycling and the freedom which is attached with such a sojourn on the highways. It salutes the Macho spirit attached with Biking, gives a propah thumbs up to the Wanderlust of the free spirit and takes a bow to the Gypsy Heart within us in a Che Guevaraesque way while screaming revolucion in Espanyol…. loudly 😊 This outlet on Golf Course Road Gurgaon, is the 3rd feather in their cap after Vasant Kunj, Delhi and Kolkata!
Their forte is hand-picked highway grub from world-wide along with detoxifying juices and Cuisine as a kind of starter, foot tapping music of the yore, with an ambiance which only vagabonds can dream of, that defines the theme of this close to heart kind of ensemble. Memories came flooding in my mind about the bike rally days of mine 2 decades ago as a navigator, Coffee 500 being the first amongst many 😊 and it was a 2 decade old stupor which I went back to…when Mr. Yadav our host came to talk to us…..passionately about the religion called biking and how he indulged and imbibed in Biking tradition (which he still does and I am feeling J for the same 😉) and about his escapades in Isle of Mann and the only other Indian whom he met in that expedition was John Abraham 😃
The Out door has a ufff kind of bike parked in between on which you want to sit and get a selfie, along with gaming consoles and the works where you can let your hair down and sip your pet cocktail which comes in the names of various bikes from Enfield to Katana to Ducati 😃
Yummy food which is hatke in taste and presentation, huge array of cocktails, live rock and metal music and a décor which appeals to your Vagabondish mind & Gypsy Heart, accentuates this theme-based restaurant to blend with the best of old world food curation with global highway cuisine. Bikers Café spoils you silly with yumm cuisine & Gypsy appeal that goes with the legendary Bikes! We tried a host of Cocktails of almost all international bikes which they were named after from Royal Enfield to Ducati, along with Starters such as Moon Look Great Forest, Vietnamese Vegan Roll, Nepali Kitchen Meat Fantasy, Signature Cottage Cheese Kebab, Chicken Satay, Mediterranean Platter, Parsi Tomato Salli, Spanish Heaven Combo and in Main Course we were treated with Bikers Chicken Fusion Discovery, Chicken Delhi 6 with Special Roti, Moroccan Tagine, Butter Chicken Combo & Spanish Fish Tomatino 😊 We rounded off this feast with a delectable and yummy Spanish Churros which were poured with Chocolate and dipped in Honey as Dessert 😎 Then we visited the Loo which has a Confession Wall …pretty cute😃
We would have loved it if Mr. Yadav was kind enough to give us a Mattress for a 45 minute Power Nap after this feast but Alas 😃 We made our way out in a blissful stupor. Last but not the least the staff are also very attentive and keep their eyes open to attend to all your whims which is another plus point. They also explain you the ingredients which have gone in to make a particular dish with patience and passion 😊
To sum it up, Bikers Café encapsulates the passion for all things that are passionately vagabond, along with the journey of curiosity and adrenaline rush. So visit with couple of hours’ time in your hand because your need to soak into it to blend in and get into the mood, delve and savour the time with friends or family at this hatke adventurous place while you sit and indulge in the flash back of your heaven on a Harley days along with the time which this place inspires you to go on again 😊 Bikers Café gets on to you and transform you into a different genre till you are there…Do delve into it since it is worth it….so as the Spanish line goes for shubh prayan…..Feliz Viaje…and … disfruta el Viaje (enjoy...
Read moreWent there on my birthday to check out the place as i had seen good reviews on Google... The seating outside looked nice (reminded me of some Bombay Cafe s).
Since one of us was a bike lover and enthusiast I thought this would be an ideal place. The interiors were nice but nothing great... More for big groups and office parties... This place is situated in a commercial building so during lunch big groups of office people are seen having lunch and having noisy discussions. To me, it was not very pleasant as I had hoped to find the place a little quieter on a weekday.
Music: sad choice of songs ... It was just 4-5 of them being played on a loop on high volume... This was one of the sure negatives..
Interior and Ambience : I imagined this place to be classier... Though they have ample seating, decent tables and chairs and running leather seating on one end....somehow we didn't feel settled even when we changed tables to take one near the stage.... Disappointing to see the the big neon sign that greets you when you enter with " What happens in Biker's , stays in Biker's." --- lame!! the best they could come up with apparently.
Food and Beverage: ordered a lager and Bikers basket( supposed to be a mix of chicken and fish breaded deep fried snacks and sm French fries). While the chicken fingers were few, all we were left with were fish popcorns underneath. The beer tasters were very lukewarm so we requested for chilled beer even if it took some time. They took their time to serve and despite that our pitcher was lukewarm... The beer tasted very strong and bitter...i don't know why we didn't return it.
Whatever it was... The food, the fish, the beer... Or the combo... I got food poisoning that night!!
Staff: There was nobody to attend to us for quite some time after we had taken a table. Gesturing and 'excuse me' didn't work either. Finally we were given our menu cards. There were some misprints in the price section which we didn't understand. Again while placing the order, we struggled to grab the attention of servers ... Finally this young lady came who looked confused and didn't seem to understand much... After placing our order we requested for glasses for the bottle of water standing on the table while we waited. After a considerable amount of time had passed and feeling parched, we had to ask someone else . She not only forgot this simple request of glasses, but the beer order as well, which was sitting ready at the bar. Then she got extra glasses for water too which didn't make sense and left them on the table which was already cluttered by now.
This when the restaurant got half empty. Don't know what happens during full house. We noticed other guests also struggling to be noticed. So we called out to one loudly and sent them over to them.
And this isn't a cheap restaurant. The prices are at par with other brewery/pubs.. Rather more...
Sorry for this long story, but i thought some of you may like to know. I ain't visiting this...

The Biker’s Cafe, on the Golf Course Road, seems to be a place equivalent of a amateur hour..from its overly sprawling menu to its shoddily trained Chef, who has no idea about what’s coming out of his kitchen, right under his nose.
Or maybe he does and he just doesn’t know the difference between the good, the bad and the ugly!
If you are thinking of venturing here anyway, and ordering something relatively simple and straightforward like a Sizzler, this one, sorry two, that we ordered, anyone could have poured forth a string of invective which cannot still redeem the waste of time/money and appetite.. Talk about “leaving a bad taste in the mouth “ kind of an experience... literally!
#WhatIAte :
Onion Rings : something genuinely remarkable arrived, as if from another kitchen.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The rest of the feast included a :
Mushroom Cappuccino: I didn’t eat this, but took two spoonfuls, and after getting it reheated, it turned out to be decent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Chicken Cantonese Sizzler : Fried rice on one side and Hakka noodles on the other. circling a orange chicken curry ( had ordered chicken in hot garlic sauce).. dumped on a sizzler plate, and some extra garlic sauce on the side. ⭐️⭐️
...now my co diner thought it was “below average” and I thought it was “average”
And while we were figuring this out, the Chef appeared, and promised to replace this one with the “best” Sizzler on their menu, to be served in 5/7 minutes flat..
I had two concerns.. The restaurant was practically empty and cooking and serving 4 elements of a sizzler in 5 minutes is an extraordinary feat.. didn’t seem convincing !
The second, I was famished. it was 4 pm and another 20 mins wait for the “best” sizzler would have killed my appetite..
Yes, the first Sizzler was taken back and replaced with the “recommended” one ..
Yes, the chef took about 5 mins.. Flat...as promised..!
For reasons best known to the Chef, this one was all veg.. potato wedges / fried rice/ thick veg “korma” kind of vegetables sans any gravy/curry/sauce
... also devoid of flavor, it rendered an insult to Mexicans every bit as profound as Trump’s previous pronouncements.
Both the Sizzlers were served on a sizzling plate, yes, minus the Sizzle...
I think the Chef knew that he could elicit a sizzle from our temper instead and make up for the lack of what initially was his job!
Let me call this second one the Raphynol of Sizzlers... a dish with the potential to send you into a ... 💤💤💤💤💤
It's not every time that a restaurant gives you something to think about on your way home.. and with someone like me, the barbs don’t fly fast and loose easily...but The Biker’s Cafe has managed...
