House of Tibet is one of the best restaurants in the town . Everything here , every item and every article every corner tells you a story of soulful creation , very thoughtfully made small cozy spaces , adding life and value to experience.
The place - for sure the owner has put hearts and soul to make this place , its not made its curated and the efforts are really really visible bcz very few put lakhs rupees just to make the staircase and the corners and counters beautiful . This place is most of the time jam packed ,so its better to book your table in advance .
The food -The menu is very vast but then again some of the items stay not available because of the the obvious reasons But yes ,The dishes which comes out of the kitchen are very tasty , soulful, The bar and the kitchen do take “their time” to serve which is understandable because most of the time the restaurant is full in the evening. But then again things must be fast as compared to the time taken , I mean 30 mins for a fresh juice is too much time to wait for , but yes the juices were very invigorating.
Staff - The staff is humble ,good. But professionally can be way way much better than what they are and needs a lot of grooming lesson, They run the show but they don’t own it , when the restaurant gets busy thats the time you will see their actual colours ,skills, sense of service depleting there was a guy who was trying to attend every-table while there were others who were just walking and flowing like a dead fish and yes their attitude at times stinks of nonchalance, Saw the barman struggling and juggling with the glasses and delivering orders .
Live music - The " House " has a very good live band they play a very good music adds to the vibe and lets you jive , they play soulful nusic at times .
Hooka / sheesha - they have a very good hooka section serving smokey good hooka ,
must try ,sizzlers , trout fish and ...
Read moreBEYOND DISAPPOINTED! This was probably my fourteenth visit to HOT but definitely the last one! We were two diners(male) visiting to have dinner at this previously much liked restaurant. But the behaviour of the Manager has definitely made this experience bitter. We were seated at one of the unreserved tables that was near a fan. The weather had been extremely humid all day and I was evidently sweating a lot. We were going thru the menu when the staff asked us if we could shift to another table, as they had to adjust another family of 10 by joining a few tables. FINE! We agreed. We moved to another table and ordered our drinks and food. 5 minutes later the Manager again came asking if we could move to the bar counter leaving the table for another group of 4 (2 couples). THAT WAS IT! I told the manager to cancel our food order, bill us for our drinks and we would leave! The manager told me to continue with the same table but exclaimed that he'd expected us to be MORE ACCOMODATING! Mind you, this is the same restaurant where my friends and I have waited over half an hour to get a table in the past!
Upon asserting that asking us to move our tables twice that too after the order had been placed , we were already having our drinks, has completely ruined our experience and we would like to just leave. Now this Manager had the AUDACITY to ask me, where I was from! Told him irrespective of where I was from, he shouldn't have done what he did to any customer! What if we weren't two guys but had women accompanying us! Perhaps the story would have been different!

Read moreGuys I had the most traumatizing experience at this place. Pehle toh the band playing was atrocious. Then they were a bunch of drunkards who kept leering at me and if not for my friend, I would have stormed out then and there. The staff did nothing to kick him out. The food was super sub par even though we ordered the most basic stuff. After that, we went in the balcony to smoke and I felt the need to poop. So I went to the washroom. After pooping to my heart's content, I discovered that the JET SPRAY DIDN'T WORK. Had to stealthily run to the adjoining men's washroom with my pants dropped to my knees to wash my ass. Guys. Imagine if the other washroom was occupied. And there was no one to bring me water and stuff. What would I have done? God I was so traumatized. This is basic stuff yaar. This was a proper cafe that charged us around 2k for a couple of beers and some food. The least we could expect was a working washroom. The only nice part was the waitress who...
